Singing In The Rain.....

"I'm singin' in the rain
Just singin' in the rain,
What a glorious feeling,
And I'm happy again.
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark, up above,
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love.

Let the stormy clouds chase.
Everyone from the place,
Come on with the rain
I have a smile on my face.
I'll walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
Just singin', singin' in the rain."

Simple but so very classy

I agree with this one I believe it is the most shown film clip of all time.

Rock of Ages , I couldn't sit for long watching that! I relived 13-17 in one musical, loved it, the music was awesome, and the narrator was genius.

Am I allowed to have few? I adore musicals.

Les Miserables (Loved it before the film, adore it now.)
Phantom of the Opera (Not the film version)
Sister Act The Musical (I was surprised it was brilliant.)
Wicked
The King and I
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (MGM film)
Singing in the rain (Or anything else with Gene Kelly)
Jesus Christ Superstar.

Plus probably many, many more. These just happen to be the ones off the top of my head.

For example: I adore Phantom of the Opera

The first 3 are because I watch them all the time when I was little.

Sound of Music
Mary Poppins
Wizard of Oz
Fiddler on the Roof
Grease
Pitch Perfect

I can't make up my mind, either 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' with the delicious campness of Tim Curry...
...or 'Cabaret' with the brilliance of Liza Minelli and Joel Grey.

Also got a soft spot for 'The Sound of Music' which my mother took me to see on the stage in London in 1963 or 1964 when I was about 5 or 6 years old.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Wicked
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Rock of Ages
Grease
Oliver!

If you made me choose one favourite in particular I think it would have to be Wicked, but it's a tough choice to make.

The Boy from Oz... the story of Peter Allen. Hugh Jackman starred in the performance I saw. This show was the first Australian musical to play on Broadway. Hugh Jackman... sigh
