Dinner should not be about food only. It is a time to be with the one you love. A time to share the day, engage your love in conversation. Talk to each other, listen, watch each other over a dancing candle lite.

Tonight I had pan fried mountain trout, steamed pole beans, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes, a homemade hot fluffy buttermilk biscuit covered in honey, sweet tea, and a heated piece of chocolate pie for dessert.

Well we are packing our sons up to send them back to college so...... we are going to a Japanese resteraunt called "Arirang". Their favorite! Tomorrow we become empty nesters again!!!!! We just had a new bed delivered today also! My wife texted me telling me that she can't wait for me tear her clothes off and fuck her on the new bed! I just may have to do that after the boys leave tomorrow! Can anyone guess what's for afternoon lunch??

Been simmering a pasta sauce all day from the fresh-picked tomatoes and basil in my garden and a rustic pear tart for dessert. Pears picked from the tree in the yard. I'm also making a loaf of Italian bread from scratch. Dreary, gray day is good for cooking.

It won a potato. Aren't you intrigued?
