Did I miss anything? That was the most terrifying thirty seconds of my life.
Please promise never, ever, let me do that again.

I have gone three months off of Lush. So, I could do it for a month, but I would be MISSED greatly by my sweet and dear friends of mine.

Yeah, Im thinking about leaving for good, some awful pple here who live for drama and upsetting pple who r just here to blow off steam and have a laugh. Escape from the reality that is real life cause clearly they don't have one. Who the fuck needs that shit?? Lush is meant to be fun.

Why would you let those people control you like that. Actually, it's our reactions to things that set the tone and how we feel. Let it go man, there's lots of jealously here and that's okay.

Different personalities and beliefs. I sometimes want to comment soooo hard, and I don't. Other times, I'm like ... Fuck it. Most of the time, I'm making light of things. There's those who don't get it, or have the kind of personality that can't or wont blow it off. Some can't or wont laugh it off. Better yet, just leave the thread.

Anyway, yes ... I could leave for a month. Right now, people are wishing I would, lol.

I could but I'd miss and be missed. It's the only reason I didn't leave, because I don't want to say goodbye to my friends.

For all of the drama that some of the people drag up on here, there are more good people, IMHO.

As a Mod, I get to see ALL kinds of sides of people here on Lush, and believe you-me, it's not all great.

But, for the most part, I couldn't leave. Not only because of my duties here, but because I have several friends here that I genuinely like, and that I'm pretty sure like me.

I doubt it. Love the site, my friends here and my role also. It would probably be easier to give up steak and chips lol.

See! It would be terrible to have to draw the Sprite from her tower to forge the Midwestern plains ... So I stays!

HELL NO! I'm hella too busy stirring up the forums, friending people, being deleted, re-friending people I've deleted, re-friending people who have deleted me, it's like an alternate universe here. My friends list is like Grand Central Station sometimes!

Seriously, I have made a few really good friends here. I try to surround myself with happy people who laugh a lot in every aspect of my life and I've found a few treasures on Lush.

I don't see logging off Lush for a time as a "dare" in the usual sense of the word.

There have been times when I just needed to be away from here for various reasons. At first, it was very difficult, as I came to rely on the small social interactions, and just contact with a world outside of my current way of life.

However, I am wiser to certain things (and people) now, so I am no longer reliant on the habit as I once was. I no longer have reason to check messages every few minutes or hours as before, knowing that those who do take time to interact with (or suffer) me are patient and kind, and few.

Time away from Lush is very easy once you find what works for you. And it means that when you come back to it, it is fresher, less emotional (if it was overly so before), and of more benefit in whatever ways you choose to use it. So I don't see it as a dare, so much as a challenge to force you to evaluate its impact on you. A dare, to me, is something cheeky, shocking and probably funny (at least for the darer).
