A Honda FRV 2.2 litre turbo diesel - reliable, comfortable, well engineered and economical. Have you Americans seen the price of fuel in Europe, it costs me around £82 ($127) to fill my tank, and that will take me about 500-550 miles depending upon whether I am in town or on the road, ie. 15 pence (23 cents) per mile. Then there is road tax, MOT, servicing and depreciation to take into account. In the UK fuel for vehicles and for heating our homes is taking up an increasing part of the household budget, at a time when incomes are falling (except for the richest 10%).
