[quote=TheChrisJ]Lexy in #14 "Blue" by Eiffel 65 its not gibberish. Ive been told many things about what he's saying some one once told me he said "I'm in need of a guy." As i kid i thought it said "Daw-boo-dee-daw-boo-die" But really he says "If i was green I would die."

Another version I heard was "I would die in Aberdeen"

How about Aqua's "Barbie Girl"? EEEEEeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

I think I like Barbie Girl because it's so completely preposterous....sort of the same way you might like a movie BECAUSE of how bad it is, not despite it.

Actually...one of the rules (mentioned at the top of the thread) for ridiculous songs is that the song should not have been written as a joke....yet this one is clearly tongue-in-cheek.

Terrifically stupid, and I shouldn't like it, based on every other taste that I have...but I do.

HOD, what do you think of that song?

Just kidding.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned "Freebird" yet (Lynyrd Skynyrd), one of the most overplayed and overused songs at funerals, etc.

Kind of funny, but ridiculous nonetheless

Most intelligent people are introspective and doubt themselves while many fucktards are proudly over-confident. - a tip of the hat to Charles Bukowski

That would be Rockin' Sidney. The 'toot toot' in the song is a triple entedre'- with two connotations being drugs and sex, but the third, the real meaning, is a term of endearment in cajun culture (spelled 'tout-tout').

And yes, that song is very ridiculous sounding- I dated a cajun girl for almost a year, it's the only reason I know this stuff. Still like to listen to cajun music sometimes.
