That I will reach an age when men are no longer interested in bringing me to orgasm. My fingers and toys are never as good.

Non-existence. Call it narcissism, but I'm prone to existing. I hear atheists talk about having nothing to really fear, especially since we can't stop it anyway, but I think that is what makes it awful to me. It obviously stems from a fear of the unknown, but I think it also has to do with hope. If there is no afterlife, there is no hope. Why should I care? That's why I just try not thinking about it. I can't stop death from coming, so I want to make my mark on society. If my only way of living on is through my actions on Earth, so be it.

This.

Best answer ever, by far!

And I second it. Who are we, what are we if we don't have that sparkle in us that makes us fly. Without it we are uncapable of love, of compassion; we are unable to feel pain, sorrow or joy.. People come and go, people die and are born, but if are not capable to lit that sparkle in us, we are missing so much.

I think your fears take on many shapes and sizes, depending upon where you are in life's journey.

For me now, not knowing if this is the last stanza of the verse.

OMG! Never thought of that! Thanks Trinket for adding to my list of fears! Up until that comment, my greatest fear was disappointing the people I care about....but now.....

I guess falling off something high up, drowning, or being buried alive.

Feel free to check out any of my stories. I have a few poems too.

Maybe because I watch so many crime shows but I have this fear of getting kidnapped and kept captive for years while the world and everyone who cares for me think I am dead.
