Food of some description... Perhaps a warm chicken salad? A selection of fresh lettuce leaves, baby cherry tomatoes and cucumbers from my garden. A secret dressing containing, honey seeded mustard and balsamic vinegar. Yeah, ok that sounds good.

Last night: roast beef subs with horseradish and Swiss cheese. Plus of course a pan sauce to dip. Strawberry poke cake for dessert.

Roast chicken and home made fries and some sort of veg (sadly I have used some sort of fragrant oil on the chicken and I don't know if it will work or be disgusting...)

Nothing to see here...

Chicken kiev and baked potatoes with sour cream.

Scratch that, the sour cream's frozen. It'll have to be extra butter. Mmm...butter.

Please take a look at my latest story, Banging for Roof.

And for a sexy little rush of Adrenalin, pick yourself up a copy of the Lush Summer anthology.

I am making steak sandwiches with grilled peppers, onions, jalapeños, with smoked provolone on toasted rolls. With a Caesar salad.

We're having some Indian friends coming over for dinner tonight, so we'll be bunging on a vegetarian lasagne and a pavlova for dessert.

They're insisting on bringing something, so there will probably be a bottle of moscato and some aloo matar too.

I can't wait. I love aloo matar!
