This is across the board. It seems that nothing is working lately. I posted on a different thread this idea -- I think we need to brace for some more bumps on the road, until we can find common ground for the future.

There are way too many tax loop holes in the US tax code and there always will be as long as the attorneys dominate the White House and the Congress.

Severely limit lobbyist, create term limits and ban all attorneys from holding office for a decade and the USA would end up in great shape!

1) wealth isn't communal property.
2) y'all need to focus on spending, not taxing.
3) neo-marxists are hilarious

In order to maintain my consistency, I heap scorn on your jumbled and ignorant opinion.

I agree to a small point that wealth is not communal property. But a healthy community is created by the wealth being spread not horded. But certainly not given away. It has to be shared through a market system of earning. Anyone to lazy to earn their own way should not share in the wealth. Anyone stealing the wealth is a criminal.

A great corporate business leader makes many more people wealthy and creates good paying jobs, therefore building a wealthier and healthier community!

Government spending is outrageous but their will have to be new tax revenue to share the load with spending cuts.

Neo-Marxists are not hilarious they are dangerous. They gave the world Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedung, Fidel Castro, Pol-Pot and others who murdered more in the name of socialism than any other political group in world history (even more than those piece of shit Nazis!).

Congress creates many of the tax breaks in order to affect social change that they can't otherwise do thru normal legislation. It's easier politically to reward desired behaviour thru the tax code than to to pass a law telling people what to do; doing that would in many cases by unconstitutional. But give people a choice where there is a financial incentive to do it one way and no financial incentive to do it another, and guess what they choose?

A national sales tax or the "Fair Tax" will never pass. The federal elected officials would lose too much power if they did this. The current tax system and its tax cuts, tax deductions and loop holes is always controlled by elected officials who reward campaign donors and punish opponents depending upon who is in power at the time by constantly tweaking the tax code and the allowable tax deductions. Democrats and Republicans have done it this way for decades.

I don't believe in give-aways. (welfare or corporate bailouts)
I believe in opportunities.

Millionaires can provide opportunities thru investments here in the US.
Take their earned $$$ away and foreign countries become their investments and so there go our jobs
