Oh, this is funny. They deserve respect for being virgins? Really?
Personally, I think forming a judgement of someone's personality and/or (dis)respecting them based on their virginity (or lack thereof) is pretty vulgar and base.
But that's just my two cents.

I think they'd deserve respect if they remained virgins out of principles. If they are because of self-confidence issues, then no. It's not respect they need. At least not from others. They have to respect themselves and learn to love themselves more. But someone standing on principles, whatever they are, is deserving of respect. Unless the principles are immoral, that is.

"It" being their decision to be a virgin, not for being virgins.
We should always respect a persons decision, even if you may have made a different decision.

I would love to be the person to take a girls virginity.
Not because I have a thing for it particulay but to be trusted and desired that much that she is willing to give you her virginty is a real gift.
I would have to treat her so well to set the bar at a good height though, make sure she remembers it with a smile on her face rather than regret it.

Ohh I would hate to take a girls virginity and have her regret it further down the line, that would be awful!

I totally respect the virgin, but I don't get turned on by virgin specifically. If I have sex with a virgin, there would be a little pressure on me, because I would want to make sure she's really having a wonderful time for her first sexual experience.
