My father actually gave me a 1972 Chevrolet Impala for my 16th birthday. It was a boat. I have some great memories of that car.

1988 Olds 98 Regency. Everyone said it looked like an old lady car but it had a kick ass stereo, rode like being on a cloud and the coolest rear view mirror that would dim when a car came up behind you. Plus the lights came on by themselves which I thought was the shits and went off by themselves after you shut off the engine and got out! kekekegay

I haven't got the foggiest notion of how to drive a car. Never bothered learning. So do bicycles count as vehicles?

In my state (Maryland, USA) bicycles are considered "vehicles" under the law, and are subject to all motor vehicle laws. That is also true in Virginia, where I once received a speeding ticket for doing 30 in a 25 MPH zone while riding a bicycle. I ignored the ticket, thinking it was silly, and had to pay it and a hefty late fine, when I tried to renew my Maryland driver's license. (Maryland and Virginia have reciprocity agreements regarding traffic fines.) I also got three points on my Marylad driving record.

So, in answer to your question, yes, a bicycle is a vehicle.

Wow, now that has been just awhile! LOL My first car that I bought was a bright red, 1960 Chevrolet Corvair, this was way, way back in 1969, think I paid $600 for it. Loved that car until I drove from California to Michigan in the winter... Seeing as it was a California car, it didn't have a heater. It got so cold that the windshield frosted over ON THE INSIDE!!!!

When I was 16 I got a maroon 1983 Mercury Lynx. Despite dad being against me getting it, I paid $200 for it because something was wrong with the engine. But my then boyfriend/future ex-husband said it was easily fixable and to get it, and if it wasn't fixable, it had over $200 worth of near-new tires and mags on it. Turned out all that was wrong with it was one of the valve rockers came loose and slipped off the valve stem. Fixed that and cleaned up the oil that blew out the dipstick, and it ran beautifully. Had it for two years until it was totalled by a drunk that hit the back of it when it was parked on the side of the road. I sold the tires and mags for $200 after that.
