Oh, there's no doubt in MY mind that the world ends because of a redhead--I've known too many to think otherwise L16 . Which is why I suspect Maya will mispredict it--they didn't have so many 'gingers'.

Frankly, I'd never pictured Chef with this look, before. Kind of sexy.

Nope, the world's not gonna end.

We will see the end of the fourth age of man........ so, thoughts on what form the fifth age of man with deliver? Hmm, maybe that should be a separate topic. dontknow

There will be no end but there may well be a mighty upheaval decimating civilisation in the near future. Man may be removed from his top-dog position and replaced by the rat who is much more suitably adapted and ready to move in.

I think there's supposed to be some comet or planet, Nibiru, I believe its called, that fiddles with our gravity, causing the end of the world as we know it. It'll be interesting to see if it does, but I don't believe it will. Still, it might be nifty if it caused some temporary weightlessness, just imagine the fun you could have.

The Mayans couldn't even predict the end of their own culture, so I doubt they could not predict the end of the world. I say no.

I thought it might end then, but I looked at my calender and it goes all the way up to December 31st, so I'm going with that date instead.

nope. to many people have made predictions about the world ending and guess what.. its still around. speaking about around.. the common knowledge of the world was its flat at one point.. looks like they were proven wrong there too. who can forget about the 2000 bug where computers were to stop running because the software couldn't take the change.. lets be real here.. in a nut shell when it ends we can only hope that we don't suffer when it does.

Just let it go.

If the Mayans were so smart that they could predict when the world would end, shouldn't they have been smart enough to see Cortez coming?

For what I have seen in their predictions, the world might not end, but there's got to be some kind of change. They were pretty damn accurate. Think

A catastrophe is always there to happen and it will at some point.

Lots of peoples actually are eager to witness a change. There is if there will be witnesses.

Ahhh I should have embarked on the Mars Rover Curiosity.

idea1 Let's open gifts on Dec 20. See, that's smart!

From what I've heard it isn't the proper end of the world - it's the end of the world as we know it.
