What do you call it? Do you call it that because you were raised that way?

In the midwest as kids we called it pop, Now i call it soda, but in some parts of the south they called all soda Coke.

Also mention where your from, maybe its a regional thing angel7

grew up saying Pop (midwesterner here) but now i say soda :)

I was raised in northern California where it was soda or coke, but up here in Washington, it's "pop" to pretty much everyone.

Im from the UK so i would say fizzy drink as a collective term but individually its coke, pepsi, fanta etc etc, HATE the term 'pop'
