Hi - Can someone give me the answer to two questions relating to re-submitting a rejected story please?

1) Should I be able to see in my profile somewhere that I have submitted the story?

2) How long does it take to be re-assessed?

Thanks in advance peeps!

It should say somewhere in your profile under your stories.

As far as how long it takes to be re-verified it depends on the back load of stories. We try to be timely, but sometimes there are alot of stories waiting and not so many moderators on here all the time.

1) It will be in your story list - click on "My Stories" from the main page and it's there

2) Most of the time stories are verified within a few hours, unless you submit at an obscure time when none of our 10 or so Moderators are around.

:

I just scanned your first story ...

Good length

improvement could be made with a few points
"Remember," he said, "that closing quotation marks go on the outside of the punctuation, not the inside."

And dialogue should be separated by paragraphs. Each time a different character speaks, this should start a
new paragraph, even if it is only a single word....

And keep ellipses to a very minimum

Constructive: DBarclay, thanks again for the insight, good to know there is a guiding voice. I don't know if this is done on all stories, but it would be helpful especially to novice writers like myself.

Under the account tab you should be able to see 'my stories'.

Re submission, for my personal experience, took probably 24 hours, so you can go to sleep and wake up to see it the next day cat
