Yeah...but it was puppy love. Actually, I'm sure that incident has scarred me for life because since then I've been extremely guarded and non-trusting.

The first person I ever feel in love with was a person that I couldn't have emotionally. It was my best friend at the time and we would often have sleepovers together and they would always end in sex. However, I became very attached and wanted more out of our relationship than just friends with benefits. I wanted her to recognize us as together, but because she was "straight" or was only looking for a quick fuck...she rejected me. Whenever she had a boyfriend, she was off limits to me physically and she acted like sex between us was just weird, but as soon has she didn't have a guy anymore, she would be right back with her pussy on my face. What can I say...I tortured myself for nearly a year by thinking that I could get her to love me, but I soon learned that you can't always get what you want.

There always is someone you can't have. You have to feel the pain before you can appreciate what you have

Yes I have. We fell in "Love", first four months were bliss. The last two were off and on. We tried remaining friends. I obsessed and we made each other angry. It became toxic and unhealthy for me. I destroyed our friendship and left that site. I deleted all of her email addresses and pics. I erased all of her emails.

In an analogy, I guess you could say it was like when hand writing a letter and you don't know how to put your thoughts down on paper, so you crumple it up and throw it away only to pick out of the trash and try completing the letter. Finally I threw the damn thing in the fire. No more headache.

[size=7]I WILL NEVER EVER FALL IN LOVE WITH AN ONLINE PERSON, THAT I CAN'T MEET AGAIN, IT FUCKING SUCKED[size=9]

Yes, got the t-shirt there.

Wrote the conclusion of first novel to stop topping myself, sold up and moved 200 miles away, got on with life without them.

I did once and we had a great time together. It hurt us both to end it, because I'm married. She knew I was married from the start. We have remained friends, and talk sometimes. I believe it hurt her more.

sadly, yes. The person doesn't know and I hope to god they don't find out. The person is already in a relationship but everyone can see it isn't going anywhere. I wished he'd open his damned eyes and see the truth laid out in front of him.

Don't we all at some point? Maybe not, but I think those few who don't are lucky, and the rest of us are the status quo. I'm now extremely happy with my partner, though.

Somebody who i 'couldn't' have, no i wouldn't say so, but somebody who I wanted but who didnt feel the same, yes, probably more than once. Maybe not in love, but definately smitten to the point where i cant get that person out of my head. I dont think love counts as love, unless its returned, love is mutual, otherwise its just compassion, lust, obession etc...

Yes, I have. It was someone who I've known for a long time. He is now with a woman that is a complete crazy. It breaks my heart to see him so sad and broken hearted but there is nothing I can do. :( All I can do is listen when he talks to me.

Only a couple of high school crushes. It was probably lust, not love, anyway.

God yes, she was married, and it's about as pleasant as being dragged naked over broken glass. She knew, she was kind and supportive, but it did no good. She wasn't the kind to cheat and that was just as well, because the whole thing about her was her nobility. Very much an emotional/spiritual/intellectual aristorcrat.

I agree with @Craig1967. It's not a nice feeling. Those people who say "better to love a little than never" or shit like that. BULLSHIT. lol.

I thought I had several times, but then I met the girl a buddy of mine brought back with him from Hungary when he was discharged from the Army. She and I seemingly had more in common than she did with my buddy and she was one of the most beautiful girls I had ever met. If he hadn't been a lifelong friend (since we were both in Kindergarten), I would have walked a mile on broken glass to be with her. But alas, the buddy code won the battle. All those earlier times were just lust or infatuation.
