Dream job, as I take it, is the job which might not be the job for you but you like it just out of inspiration for so many reasons... you may not be qualified or experienced enough for your dream job and in certain cases it is not the best paid job. My dream job however, is in line with the profession I am about to step in... yes I would like to become the Chief Justice of the United States or the Attorney General! Yes nothing less then that geek

I am a smart girl.... I just do stupid things....

Writing lyrics, recording wicked music demos alone in my apartment, presenting them to a band, and recording them professionally afterward. Touring around the world would be great too, though optional.

An expanded version of what I am doing now and to be doing a lot more of it as a volunteer service, for those in need without the means.

My late father used to say "I dream of a job where you go in at twelve, take and hour for lunch and leave at 1." I agree with him.

I crave so much more than a physical connection. I crave your words and depth. I crave who you are and where you came from, your desires and fears. I yearn to know every inch of you beyond the surface.

I guess to get paid for writing my stories. Maybe to meet rock stars, and interview them. Be a rock star, myself. It sure as hell not the job I have now.

Feel free to check out any of my stories. I have a few poems too.

My Dream job would go some thing like this. You stroll into work about noon. Then you get an hour for lunch. And then you go home about 1:00 PM. And they deposit your pay automatically to your checking account.
Come to think of it I already have that job. It's called Social Security Disability. L.O.L.laughing6

Seriously though for Many years I dreamed of being A Hearse Driver. (WHAT?) That's rite. I know it may freak some people out but I thought it would be great.
Death doesn't bother me. The hours are good. You don't get any complaints from the passengers.
Unlike my former profession Truck Driver,You get A smooth ride & no Boss putting the rush on you. You get to wear A Suit & Tie. As opposed to work pants & boots.
And people for the most part leave you alone. What could be better.santa

I'm essentially doing it. I'm an army medic in Afghanistan. Very few things that I can think of that are this rewarding.

The only thing better is perhaps being more involved in saving lives. Maybe an anesthesia provider.

Your selfless contribution is greatly appreciated. I wish you luck in your future endeavors. And one day you get to be an anesthesiologist.

To win the lottery then spend the rest of my life finding parents and children living in a car (or where ever) and helping them get started. By a car, get an apartment, clothes for work and their kids, etc. All that shit that most of us just take for granted.

I stop and give money to people on the street. I live on social Security now so it's not much any more.

I am always a gentleman.

I pretty much have my dream job.

The government says I am old enough to withdraw a monthly stipend from my savings account, which they euphemistically call "social security"; and I work part time on salary as a licensed professional engineer.

I get up at about ten most mornings (but I generally go to bed around two or three AM), call into work and see if they need me to come into the office that day. Some days they do, and some they do not. I average about ten to fifteen hours a week, all of which is billable to clients. My paycheck is automatically deposited every two weeks, just like clockwork. At Christmas, I get (usually) a month's pay as a bonus check.

I am currently playing regularly with three big bands and a concert band. I pick up the odd theater pit orchestra job (average about seven shows a year). Between all that, I am playing all the woodwind and reed instruments enough to keep my ability up (although I could use a few more chances to play oboe, bassoon, tin whistles, fife and recorder - I don't stay as proficient on those as I'd like to).

I also repair clocks, but I pick and choose which ones I want to work on. I don't have to mess around with cuckoos, or any of the junk made after WWII. Most of the ones I repair are made between about 1700 and 1850, which means each is strictly "time and materials" and I get the interesting fun of making any replacement parts.

"There's only three tempos: slow, medium and fast. When you get between in the cracks, ain't nuthin' happenin'." Ben Webster

Even though it's not what my degree will be in, I think that if I could do anything it would be wedding/event planning. I would love it!

A true dream job for me would be a National Geographic photographer... Traveling to amazing destinations in all kinds of weather and sharing amazing photographs with the world... :) .... Though I do have to admit my current job is a super close second... Something very satisfying about helping people and protecting the innocent...
