Believe it or not, someone in China is translating some of my poems for the Chinese market...that's a billion or so more potential views...
Here is the poem in English...
What A Difference A Year Can Make
Nothing in life is guaranteed,
Of this lesson I should take heed,
For what life gives it can surely take,
What a difference a year can make.
A year ago I was standing tall,
It seemed as though I had it all,
Somehow though my luck had turned,
I consider it a lesson learned.
Failure is hard, but so is success,
Too many drown in their own excess,
But no matter what, my spirit won't break,
What a difference a year can make.
10-02-10.
And here it is in Chinese...who would have though???
I might be famous in China some day...and never know it...
