We all have them, what subjects make you get on a soapbox? I've known very placcid friends of mine get all riled up about the most unlikely of subjects.

What topics get you so riled that you absolutely must have a say on the matter?

Abortions.
Gun control.
Homosexuality.
Government subsidies to people that make a career of living off of it.
The price for pills to keep someone alive.
Old people having to eat cat food so they can afford those pills.
People that dump a loved one in a nursing home or extended care facility and never come to see them.
And almost everything in the Think Tank. Health care, politics, etc.

I think I have more but am getting riled so I'll stop. evil4

I can get pretty riled up about generalization... I hate when people judge a large amount of people on the things one person did.

Street violence.
Drugs.
Child neglect.
People who think the world is their living room and carry on as if they're not out in public.
The "shift the blame" mentality that's so common today.

I could go on and on about those subjects, but I'll contain myself!

Computer operating systems. But no one ever agrees with me. I'm serious. I'm really not trying to be funny.

I am open to pretty much everything... the only thing that gets my knickers in a twist is when someone starts to think that their opinion is the only one that counts and all people should bow or give way to their opinion. Well not only ''someone'' but a group of people/country etc...

Living life and enjoying life are two different things... just need to figure out how to do both at the same time to live it right!

Woman... GO FLY A KITE!!!!! Take a slideshow walk with me on a walk through the parks of Inner Mongolia, China. Then enjoy the tale of a very traditional day in the life of a white Woman in China.

Apple - I don't like Apple as a company or their products.
Gun Control - I am pretty much pro gun ownership. (Caveats are present.)
Abuse of Women - I abhor it. 'Nuff said.

Hmmm! I'm more than a little nervous about sharing my 'hot button' topics in case they are used to bait me, however, I think you probably know these already.

Child neglect/abuse
Drugs
societal leeches - you know, people who expect government to breast feed them them from cradle to grave and get others to pay for it
illegal immigration

ouch! I know there is more but my right of centre brain function is starting to kick in. Best to leave it here. Shhh

A repeat of a few already listed, plus some:

Abuse/Neglect of any kind inflicted upon any person in any age group.

Animal abuse/neglect

Hate crimes (really, violence of any kind...can't we all just get along!?)

Racism

Hypocritical holier-than-thou types

Crooked business practices

As ChefK said; the cost of medication for our elderly and the fact that most can't afford it on their limited/fixed incomes.

That's it for now...

Full of worms too, be careful when eating them if not cooked properly, toxoplasmosis isn't fun.

I like the story about the duck-billed platypus. When it was first brought to England for biological examination, they thought it was a prank.

Not hard to see why:
