Right, i know some guys really do dislike or even hate shoping with lovers/ partners or whoever and i understand that shopping at christmas is always more stressful but if your partner took you into a lingere shop and started with the whole "what do you think of this one?", "would you like to see me in this?" would you feel differently about shopping in that shop, try your hardest to push aside your irritable side for a little while to give helpful opinions or would you just feel as irritated as normal and just want to be outta there as soon as?
This was my situation today, i needed a new everyday bra anyway but i figured that while we were there together we could pick something together for me for christmas morning but to my huge disapointment he just gave me no feedback whatsoever. I was really gutted actually, this is a guy who always complains about me not matching (I get up at 4.30 am and get dressed in the dark!! Thats my excuse and im sticking to it!) and for the first time i was giving him a free ticket to pick ANYTHING in the whole shop he wanted to see me in and it felt like he couldnt be bothered an that he was more interested in leaving the shop again. Honestly thought he would be a kid in a sweet shop.

i was involved in a guy who actually enjoyed picking out underwear and lingerie with me - 'i'd like to see you in this' type of thing - i really enjoyed going shopping with him and ended up making some choices that were less functional and more sexy fun because of it, much to our mutual enjoyment. That said, he turned out to be a bastard in the end, but hey, i still have good memories of shopping with him! a note for all the guys - a lot of times, if we're buying sexy lingerie, it's for YOU - appreciate it, or most likely, you won't be seeing anything but plain white cotton undies after a time.

I'm going to have to say I'm one of those guys that's doesn't like doing this. I prefer she surprise me with something. I'm more interested in what she thinks is sexy because from my experiences I have found that women enjoy being in lingerie that they picked out rather than what I did. I like spontaneity. I love unplanned sex. So going to the store together and picking something out and blah blah blah doesn't appeal to me, it seems forced.
A girl wants to be surprised, have a guy show her that he really listens, and when she is not in the mood, to be able to set aside feelings and just let it go.

Look, we all know that that once they see it, that it's gonna be there for just as long as it takes for them to figure out the clasps, bows, hooks, etc.
Aside from unrealistic porn, the lingerie we get stays on for what? a matter of seconds once it comes into view? Of course there are exceptions, but, Im talking the norm. To ask him to help shop for it, just don't seem to work.
Just get it yourself, most guys are so uncomfy in vics and freds and the like, that it's not the candy store experience you expect it to be for them... this is one of those cases that just go for what you think is sexy to him and what you feel sexy in... it's very hard to go wrong I would think

you are right and the reason we are so uncomfy in VS and other places like that is because we dont want to be seen as perverts. That is a guys biggest fear when he walks into VS is that if he takes his eyes off the ground in front of him he will be seen as a pervert. I actually got to go undie shopping with my girl and I picked out the ones I liked but I made her actually take them off the rack. I dont know why its just a guy thing I guess.

you can take me along for lingerie shopping any day aslong as I get to see you in it. If I'm just shopping with you for some other dude I really couldn't care less but oh well that usually doesn't happen. I can usually give you a lot of feedback on lingerie as I think I know my stuff quite well and am an absolute lingerie lover (I used to wear that stuff myself in private for a long time, don't do it anymore though). I don't have a problem with shopping in general as long as it is with my girlfriend and we don't go shoe shopping cause there I couldn't care less
