I had fish and chips. Three pieces of rig and half a scoop of chips (for you Americans = fries) I had only ordered two pieces but I think the
lady likes me. My Diabetic nurse will probably shoot me, but, what the hell - its only once a week and I don't have any other takeaways in the week.

Today my friends and I ventured further out from our Buckhead enclave to one of Atlanta's most delicious southern style soul food restaurants. I had a fried chicken breast, white creamed corn, green beans, fried pickles, mashed potatoes, cornbread, and for dessert, peach cobbler. I washed it all down with a lot of iced sweet tea. It was absolutely deeeeeeelicious!

Today I had Chinese food for lunch. Wonton soup, chicken & broccoli with fried rice, egg roll, and hot tea.

While I was eating several Georgia State Patrolmen came in to eat and sat a few tables from me. Damned if I didn't recognize 2 of them as patrolmen who have pulled me over on my motorcycle before.

A bag of bacon crisps and another cheese and onion .... I am on a diet and so eat low calorie foods and certainly very sensibly at lunchtimes to ensure I hit the 5 a day target and more. After all my body is a temple and you are what you eat.
