I remember when I went online with a lightning speed of a 300 Baud Modem. Wow incredible, what an emotion.

Today with a 300 baud modem you could load Google (which is mostly and empty page) in about 10 minutes, maybe more.

Lush would load the home page in less than 30 minutes. These times are really approximate.

So, when is taking (1001, 1002) two seconds.. I'll try to remember when.

I remember when i was cyber chatting with a guy and my mom barged in my room. To add humiliation to it, my hand was in my pussy and the guy was moaning.

That's in some ways a beautiful memory......

I remember when you played games together as a family and not with a computer screen. I miss the feel of a deck of cards :(

...I thought that maybe a new life, a different life, wouldn’t be so bad. But where the hell did I put the receipt, and could you return something that was over twenty years old? Where do you go to get a new life when your old one has you so puzzled you don’t know how to fix it? Wish I knew.

I remember when Pokemon cards were first released.

The Doctor

~ "Oh, now what's this, then? I love this. A big, flashy-lighty thing. That's what brought me here. Big, flashy-lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually, but give me time... and a crayon.”

~ “I'd forgotten not all victories are about saving the universe.”

~ “900 years of time and space and I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important.”

~ “I am, and always will be, the optimist. The hoper of far-flung hopes, and the dreamer of improbable dreams.”

All of the stuff so far is just memories of what my kids and grand kids did. I am an old fart and can remember a lot different.

I remember when...

I went to a one room schoolhouse. 1952 in Summerfield, Oklahoma when I stayed with my grandfather.

Listening to the radio was all there was and being scared shitless with one program, "Inner Sanctum". I can still hear that creaking door and the narrators gravelly voice.

We got our first TV. 1948 in Grand Island, New York. We could get one station out of Buffalo and then another from Canada after my dad put a special antenna in the attic.

Gasoline cost $ 0.05, that's right, 5 cents a gallon. I remember it going down to 3 cents during a "gas-war".

Looking out from The Cave Of The Winds through Niagara Falls and Prospect Point hadn't yet fallen into the fiver.

Our first telephone was a party line. That was fun and a huge pain in the ass at the same time.

Our first private line in 1952 on Grand Island and the number was BR3063. Bridge was the exchange for the whole island.

Squirrel hunting and being able to run FO miles, chasing an injured one because you do not leave them like that. Then frying them and having a wonderful time.

Drinking Sassafras tea after boiling the roots I'd dug.

**********

Yeah, I remember a lot but it's all different now. Not better or worse necessarily, different. Different times and different cultures that evolved.

I am always a gentleman.
