That doesn't mean that race is a non-factor for you. It means you prefer black men over white men. Hey, no shame in that. :) Preference doesn't equal discrimination or prejudice.

Beyond everyone's impulse to declare race a non-issue, there are always preferences.

Very true. There is a big difference between a preference and racial stereotyping!

Why would anyone care. The key is are they jerks or hot interest people? If they fit in to the hot interesting catagorie, please knock on my door, I am more than willing and available.

That applies for gender also.

I figure if love is supposed to be "blind" then it is "color blind" too!

my wife is part latino, and looks the part, so i guess you could say i prefer latinos. don't tell Jack, though - he'll get ideas.

Interracial doesn't just mean a black male/female, so I can say yes to this as I've always been culturally enticed in more ways than one. evil4

To me the mere fact that interacial is in the subject line suggests bias. I want to know what difference it makes in the first place. Especially when one considers there is likely more genetic drift in a variety of great apes than the entire human species. It just gets old and who cares? I don't and either one of the male specimens smells like 100 miles of diesel and another 50 of asphalt..... Now, lets talk about the sweet yummi scent of being with another gurl.... lol, oh yes!!!

Of course it suggests bias, and of course preferences matter. Proof that it matters: this question gets asked at least six times a year, and people always respond, many by scurring to type out the PC "the only thing that matters is what's on the inside blah5 " answer as quickly as possible, but still...

I second the yummy girl on girl reference, though! drunken

If what little of my family tree I know is all completely true it will be difficult to have interracial sex because it seems my family never believed in stay within your race. My mothers family has Spanish, Mexican and not not same thing, Native American, and African American. Dads has white but I can't keep up with all the nationalities that lists white as a race and oriental, mostly from China, and who knows who slipped in that I never heard of. All I am saying is that if you are a pure breed, if you have sex with me it might be considered interracial. Now my question, is there still people in this world that is a product of a family tree that isn't interracial?

Well interesting topic here. I'm completely open to relationships with other races but I feel I have an instinctive attraction to my own race and this is simply nothing to do with cultural stereotypes just how I am wired and the majority of my partners being white backs this up. So I wouldnt use the words I'm into inter-racial, but I'm not against it.

I like my men how I like my beer, rich hearty and foreign.
But seriously, I do prefer non-african american/ non-black men, but I love all men. If they treat me properly, we have things in commons and can hold great conversation, then I might be attracted to the guy regardless of race, ethnicity, religion ect.

Had sex with Scottish, Irish and Welsh guys. Never had sex with a black or Asian man though. Don't know why .. one of my friends seems to always choose black guys.

That's because there is no such thing as race except in the minds of demographers and sport yet we as the great human species that is all knowing continue to promote it as some lower form of taxon. Exactly, it's meaningless and has no place in any advanced society.

See, here it comes. now it's a black guy, then yellow, then red. We bring racial issues upon ourselves. Just to clarify, Scottish, Irish and Welch are members of a nationality not a taxon.

OK, what's on the inside is about 4 bucks worth of biomatter on a good day at wall street. We place so much weight on the subject wars have been fought and lives have been lost yet we continue to push the race card. The only place race exists is in your mind because it carries not an atoms weight of scientific validity. In other words it is meaningless as is gay, lesbian and so on.
