I have no problem at all with the legality of abortion. In fact I strongly support abortion being legal and safe. But I do have a problem with tax money being spent for *abortions, *birth control, viagra, etc. or the government forcing certain insurance coverage. The government should not steal money from hard working people to pay for other people's desires. Insurance coverage, like pay scale, is something that should be worked out in agreement between employees and employers in a free society not a government dictatorship.
But I like you LMB, I do enjoy Sen. Nina Turner's antics. She is very creative in making her points.
*this could be an acceptable aid in some cases of extreme poverty as long as it is temporary. Government help should be very temporary and not a lifestyle.
yep i do agree with you ArtMan on almost all counts...however it does bug me that women are still paid 77 cents on the dollar compared to their male counterparts. i am in no way for affirmative action as i do believe in the right person (regardless of gender, color, religion etc) for the job but i also believe in equal pay for equal work. too bad that in general Americans as individuals and as corporations dont always do the right thing for the sake of it being the right thing to do.

I absolutely agree with you LMB. Equal work for equal pay. I think the majority of corporations & businesses promote 'equal pay for equal work' from the top but still have many managers, especially at mid-level who do discriminate and do it ways that make it difficult to prove or realize that it is going on (without an extensive audit.) No doubt 77 cents on the dollar compared to male counterparts in the same job is not right nor is it acceptable.
