This site has so many bi-women. As a recent addition to this bi scene after many years of fantasizing; I am asking whether you prefer women, guys or both equally? from my recent encounters, I must say that my preference is with other women.
My profile says Lesbian, but I more likely should be labeled as BiSexual. Most the time I enjoy the tenderness of a woman.
But I also need a man from time to time. But during a certain time of the month it seems like there are not enough men to be found.
Strange is it not?
I like both and for different reasons. I think I enjoy sex with women more, maybe 60/40 but I still love men too. I have just been screwed over by men my whole life that I cant see myself in a meaningful relationship with a man again. But as for having sex, I could never see myself choosing just one..
I love both and the sex is very different. I couldn't make a choice or decide from one day to the next what I want or need more. Ultimately it's usually down to me responding to the person coming on to me.
I love men and I've always known that I wanted a man to share my life with. However, I love sex with women and if she'll have me knowing that my husband comes first then I have no problems.
I agree with 1nympholes. My profile also says lesbian but should be bi as I've never entirely ruled out guys. I'm probably 90/10 in my preferance of women.
I would say that I'm more "Bi-Lite" (yes, I made that up), meaning that on very rare occasion, with no emotional involvement factoring in, and as purely just a sex-thing, with the right hot girl/situation, and usually some alcohol factoring in, I'm really into girls.
I don't state 'bisexual' on my profile here because - orientation doesn't matter to me, since I'm not looking for any cyber hookups anyway. I also feel like, in a way, bisexual should mean a true openness to both genders on a consistent basis, and my interest in girls isn't a really driving force in my sexuality at all.
I think sexuality is a very fluid thing, and preferences can definitely change at various stages in life. As well there is the question of emotional attachment vs physical attraction. I may enjoy playing with girls now and then but I don't want to 'date them', hold hands, get romantic/intimate. I just see it as a playful no-strings thing where everything goes back to normal afterwards, and we laugh it off as just a fun experience and get on with our lives. I'm also very careful to pick girls who are of a similar mindset to me because I've had crossed wires once or twice in the past and it can be very awkward, especially in cases where you were already friends/acquaintances first.
I find this topic very interesting. The differences in attraction and arousal in women is something I have noticed a lot recently. The differences in what women who identify with different sexual preferences seem to enjoy seeing/watching vs doing ect. I'm bisexual and married to a man, but I am rarely physical attracted to men and prefer sex with women. Interestingly though I've noticed that many lesbians find looking at men and porn with men in it much more enjoyable than I do.
I like both equally. Men and women are so different (obviously lol) and fulfill different needs.
I like both men and women equally. Both when its about pure physical attraction and more emotional relationships.
But i have never been able to keep a relationship with man, but i think that is because of what i do for living.
I think it's 40/60 for me. The 60% being women. But men are far less complicated to date :-) lol. x

I am fairly new to the bi scene as well having finally my first woman experience two years ago and though I do think of myself as bi the only time I am with a man now is if I am in a threesome with a couple. I much prefer the toucb and feel of a woman!

it's gone back and forth during my life. i would have to say that, until the past few years, i've prefered men over women, not by a large percent, but enough that my only serious relationships were with men. that has switched drastically in the past 5 years, mostly because i fell head over heels in love with another girl. also, due to personal issue over the past year, my desire for men has dropped considerably to the point i consider myself a lesbian with bi tendencies.

I'm more physically attracted to women than I am to men; however, men tend to stimulate me more mentally which can be even more important.
I find it interesting that only the sex is emphasized. You DO know that gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, heterosexual means also you have emotional feelings (love, etc.) for these genders?
I've never had sex with a man, but I do know that I've been attracted to a rare man once or twice but I've only ever had sex with a woman and have been turned on by a woman. I prefer women over men in the romantic division - they just seem like better lovers in my honest opinion and feels like you could connect to them better emotionally as well -- that's just me though. For me, it's 75/25, but from time to time, I'll be attracted to men but most of the time it's women.
Both have their plus and minus sides. For long erotic and imaginative sex I prefer female company. but sex with a man can be fun with the right person. I also prefer evenings out with girlfriends
I prefer women 9 to 1 for all reasons. But, every once in a while I'll play with a guy.
