A while ago, I used a coat hanger to clean a vacuum cleaner. There was compacted dust caught in one of the pipes and the only thing that was handy was a coat hanger. I dismantled the thing and slammed it down the pipe. It worked a treat! Edit: Read this back and it sounded like I had sex with the vacuum cleaner, I'd like to clarify that I did not at that time, have never, nor will ever, have sex with a vacuum cleaner.
