Never really thought about it. If I like someone and find them attractive, they're attractive, regardless of shape.
I might refer to a woman I'm with as "curvy", but I would never call them "fat". 'Curvy' has a nice rounded sexy feeling to it; "fat" just sounds unfeeling and derogatory.

It's about deviation from the proportions.
