For me, so far anyway, its a tie between Iron Man 3 and Disconnect. I liked The Great Gatsby but it just didn't beat out those other two. Identity Thief was hilarious but was by no means better than the others. So what is/are your favorite movie(s) of 2013 so far?

Cool IronMan Homemade, just for fun ;)

Y'know, I just realised I haven't actually seen any movies this year. Like, none. Crazy.

I've seen The Hobbit (loved it!) but that was 2012.

I loved The Hobbit too and I generally don't like fantasy movies! I can't wait for the other two movies!

God, my head's really up my arse! Lol

So, I've only seen one film from this year?? That sucks!

Must try harder...

(Oh and I loved the hobbit, but it was about 45 mins too long)

seeing a sneak preview of Star Trek wednesday - ask me again afterwards biggrin

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I'm not sure how they're going to make two more movies that long out of the same rather short book! But that's their plan!

Would it be too nerdy to say Lincoln?

Yes! That movie was unbelievably awesome. I saw it on Easter with my little nieces and nephews and I'm pretty sure I enjoyed it more than they did. I'm definitely sure that I was more vocal about my love for it, too. Lol.

I would have to say Star Trek: Into Darkness.
Saw it last weekend and it is seriously good!
Highly recommended.

I only see animated films nowadays. And, the Croods came to mind when I saw this thread. Glad to see someone else note it as well.

Great animation I thought as I watched it with my daughter. But then, the end. Daddy learns from his mistakes, dad and daughter say those three simple words without it being said, and my daughter jumped in my lap as onscreen daddy embraced his daughter. It's nice to see dads are still worthwhile, no matter how short sighted they may seem sometimes.

So far my favorites are Great Gatsby and The Hobbit
And for some strange reason I really loved Warm Bodies it is a silly movie but to me it was the cutest thing!
