What is the most current overrated and underrated shows?

Overrated, definitely the big bang theory. I watched one episode, and swore I'd never watch it again. I completely don't understand how it's so popular, but WTFE. The most underrated show would be The Good Wife. It's gotten renewed just barely for the past couple seasons, but I'm continually impressed with each episode. The writing, the acting and everything else is excellent. I give the series a perfect 10.

Overrated: Falling Skies. Just doesn't interest me. Don't know why, I like the SciFi genre, but this doesn't do it for me.
Underrated: Justified. The FX show has the best writing and acting on TV. Perpetually overlooked. As is Timothy Olyphant.

Heh - how pathetic am I? The only shows I've watched in the last year are things like Frasier reruns and Dexter.

Have to agree with Sprite: take Game of Thrones seriously. I've known George RR Martin since early 70's, had a good talk with him last summer. He's developing a couple new shows for HBO 'cuz they love him. Must say, he does like to kill off main characters!

Haven't had a tv since about 1998 and life is so less stressful now it's even improved my grammar. I wander around uninformed about things that don't immediately effect me, (and most world events to be realistic are beyond my control) never sit swearing at the box, or being bored to death by cooking programmes or house buying ones (Jesus get a life!), and as for the vogue on talent or 'reality' shows I don't suffer that horrible feeling of a great weight pressing down on my chest and giving me an urge to slide off my chair and lie on the floor. I used to watch beloved shows like Only Fools And Horses or Steptoe and Son but sadly they are only repeats now. I watched a show whilst visiting the kids on their tv and it was supposed to be a sort of mock game show where 2 brain dead and talentless twins were covered in fake tan and then they hosed it off which the audience and the presenters all thought extremely funny. Now I like a joke along with the next man but this was hardly P.G. Wodehouse material, (Jeeves and Wooster). No this was one of my better descions no doubt there will be amongst you those who will think I'm putting myself at risk with this ignorance is bliss approach but I'm sure someone will send me an email about anything urgent like the North Koreans are going to invade Europe with a view to subjugating us all.

overrated : 2 and half men the whole show is just 2 dudes talking to a wall lol

underrated : wife swap those control freak parents are hilarious especially the dads who try to stand up to the swapped mothers threatening them or just crying about how they feel bad about their kids new changes that the new mom is making
