Someone commented the other day that rock music is dead. whoever said that has obviously not been listening to or reading the music press., is quite frankly, a twat. rock music is healthier then ever, there are so many new rock bands coming through and they are doing it because they love it, not because it's going to make them rich quick. Older rock bands are still gigging and releasing new material. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, AC/Dc to name a few, these bands have been around for years and the reason why is they produce music with substance and longevity. Who was the last rap artist or boy band or any pop band you heard of who was still doing it 30 years later. Discuss
