I have recorded quite a lot of audios - I actually hate the sound of my voice, but I got such good feedback on my stories/audios here, that it really encouraged me to do more. I've actually been recruited to do paid audio work on the strength of the work I've done here - not saucy ones, I hasten to add.

I'm also very proud to say that I've been asked to voice stories written by others - which is a huge compliment (although I generally reserve the right to ask for edits on the story/poem)

I'd say that I get pretty much even feedback from male and female listeners, saying how they've "enjoyed" the stories (I try not to think about that too much ha ha ha - rather, I visualise them sitting quietly, hands folded, fully dressed, knitting or embroidering or something wholesome - I know that's not always the case though)



Among the audio stories I've listened to, the people I enjoy are Shylass, Saga, Laura_lee_sugah, Frank_Lee - to name but a few... I don't really want to hear someone pretending to have an orgasm or whatever - I can imagine that for myself. I do wish there were more quality male audios though - that would be a nice addition to what we already have available...

I don't listen to them to get off, but then, I don't read to get off either...

Personally, I don't "write" orgasms into my stories, rather I describe the build up, feelings etc - I dislike the "OOOOOOOOGHAAAARGH I'M CUMMING" sort of dialogue...

I agree! Hearing a fake orgasm that's just read out is miles apart from the real thing. When it's real, when the author is really into it, turned on and in the moment it's really really hot.

I've listened to a couple of audios, by friends. I feel that a piece can seem "alive" if done well by the right person. I've asked Lauralee_sugah and Mazza to do audio for me, because I knew I couldn't sound that sexy, but they could.

The first audio I listened to on my Shiny had GingerKitty uttering the phrase, "I like bouncy breasts", and it made me giggle so much that I sometimes say it to myself when the bus goes over a bump and makes things bounce. What about the difference between reading and performing? And by performing I mean genuine performing, performing with genuine sexual energy.
I think there's two types of audio, one being literary audio, the other being aural fantasy, one is heavily scripted, the other not so. The latter is more of an art IMHO. There's a risk and an edge to it. Having said that, aural fantasy is not everyone's cup of tea....

A) It's Oral, not aural.

B) Art might be subjective. However, a carefully crafted piece that is well plotted truly a work of art. A wank fest that just stalls, and umm's, and makes random slurpy noises, is as worn out and tired as a bleach blond pouting Oh yea baby give it to me, while she looks at the camera. I like audio stories. If they are done well, only a few on here can do well with them. I have a lot of them myself, I don't know if I do 'well' at them, but do the best I can. I'm not as good as Andrew, Maz or Jayne though.

It depends on the audio quality - I'm a visual person but I've got a good imagination...and most often than not I laugh myself to death or feel ridiculous listening or watching to any kind of porn - I prefer erotic literature. But audio - when done right (sound volume audible, no or little background noise, nice and pleasant voice , relatable content) is incomparable to visual porn - as an audio is a thousand times better, a million times less - how should I phrase this right? - impersonal, voyeur-like, third wheel, weird?

Ah, I associate it with the aural exams I gave my students in Poland, so I automatically think of what the ear hears. In this context, it was automatically sexual sounds/words for me because of the subject and site. It's sometimes funny how we read things differently to what authors may have intended. It happens a lot around here. Who knows if either of us are right anyway?

(I struggle with a lot of abbreviations here, and regret Googling it 98% of the time!)

When it comes to porn I prefer audio and images but must of all novels. I do not watch videos (If I seldomly do i have them muted) the 'actors' ruin it for me every time by being so horrible.
