We are in the midst of an ice storm. Power going out in various places. I have downed tree's in my back yard, and my satelite wont work (argh!). Bored out of my mind and no way out!! Hope you all are enjoying much better weather!

Pixie I live in Connecticut and we are supposed to be getting the same storm not looking forward to it. We are going to start as snow then go to ice and freezing rain. Oh Gooddie!. This has been one of the crappiest coldest winters we have had in a number of years. I am so ready for hot weather can't wait to wear shorts and go riding again.

Well Merry and DBarclay at the moment here in Connecticut it's 26 outright now not all that bad today. Kind of nice before the storm. I don't mind the cold like this I hate sub zero cold with the wind. It's not supposed to be too bad of a storm about 6 inches. But that's still too much for my taste. LOL

Well DB, I certainly wouldn't like to know any important parts froze off. And I definitely wouldn't mind keeping some people warm, sometimes cold weather can be an advantage if you get my drift.

My kid made it home - she had to drive through it.
Lucky she was on the northside of the storm - mostly snow.

Thanks Bat. Had to take my son to a doctor appointment this afternoon in the "lovely" snowy conditions, feeling like crap myself. Ended up being an all day affair practically since it took over an hour to get there and we were made to wait 2 hours to see the doctor :-( Then another hour home. The outcome of the appt? We needed to schedule another test in March. Grrr...couldn't they have just called us?

Headed to sit by the fireplace...curl up with a tissue box, a blanket, and whichever cat will sit still! LOL

Didn't realise so many of you guys and gals where from America. Me near Manchester England its been minus 2 today and it's been snowing walked to Tesco's brrrrrrrrrrrrrr so cold that wind, apparently more snow is on it's way great haha.

I may live in the warmth....but I would like to be able to go to Tesco's
