I got this one from a Mixologist as well.

It's very refreshing and nice and clean compared to the typical sangria recipes.

I'm thinking of making this same recipe over the holidays but instead of berries and mint, I'm thinking of maybe trying some muddled cranberries and fresh mint or even some pomegranate to keep it more 'holiday festive'.

White Berry-Mint Sangria

Mix the following into a pitcher:

Dry White Wine (full bottle)

Cointreau (1 ounce)

Pear Vodka (2-3 ounce)

Soda Water

Fresh berries (blueberries and raspberries)

Fresh torn mint

In terms of exact measuring, you can add more or less of any of the above to please your own taste palate.

I've had something like this at a party...but with pomegranate. It's perfect.

When we went down to Cuba this summer, I tried something called Miami Vice. Love in a glass!!
Here's my "cheater" receipe:

5 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 packagefrozen pina colada mix
1 packagefrozen daiquiri mix

1. Mix pina colada with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice. Set aside.
2. Mix daiquiri with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice.
3. While frozen, add pina colada mix to a cocktail glass. Add the daiquiri mix on top, keeping it seperated from the pina colada mix.
4. Serve on a warm beach overlooking the ocean.

Spanish Coffee
Spanish coffee is a classic coffee cocktail, and if you happen to live in Portland, Oregon, you have access to one of the best versions around. Huber’s Café has become famous for their Spanish coffee prepared perfectly every time with all of the fire-filled theatrics you’d ever want.

3/4 oz. 151-proof rum
1/2 oz. triple sec (Huber’s uses Bols)
2 oz. Kahlúa
3 oz. fresh-brewed coffee
Tools: lighter or matches
Glass: sugar-rimmed red wine or Irish coffee glass (make sure it's tempered)
Garnish: lightly whipped cream and sprinkling of ground nutmeg

Add the rum and the triple sec to the sugar-rimmed glass and carefully ignite. Add Kahlúa (the flame should go out at this point) and top with hot coffee. Garnish.

When I get back in the states I want to buy a bottle of absinthe because in reading up on it, there seems to be a lot of good recipes.

So I did a thing with leftlingula... 😈 Naughty people, I'm not talking about that. We wrote a story together! I'm very proud of what we've done and we would love for you to read it. It's about a husband and wife remembering who they are together. The fire, their passion, their love, her need to submit to him, and his need to dominate her. All rolled into one beautiful connection. It all started with one simple word...

It looks good, have not been able to try it.

Candy Corn Jell-O Shots
Mix the white layer first and fill your Jell-O shot cups about 1/3 full (about ¼ inch deep on a 2oz cup), then chill till firm. Mix the orange layer and fill the cups till they’re about 2/3 full. Keep in mind that you’ll need a little room at the top because you won’t be filling the cups to the brim with the final layer. After the orange layer has chilled, mix up the yellow layer and top off the shots.
White Layer
1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup canned, unsweetened coconut milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup Malibu rum
Sprinkle the gelatin over the coconut milk and water in a saucepan and let sit for a few minutes. Heat over low heat, stirring, until the gelatin starts to dissolve. Add the sugar and stir till dissolved. Cool till just warm. Stir in the Malibu rum.

Orange Layer
3 oz. pkg Orange Jell-O
1 cup water
4 oz. Orange sherbet (about one scoop)
1/2 cup Vanilla schnapps
3 Tbsp Butterscotch schnapps (optional)
Orange food coloring (if desired)
Bring the water to a boil. Add to Jell-O and stir till dissolved. Add sherbet while still warm and mix thoroughly as it melts. Allow to cool to room temperature. Stir in vanilla and butterscotch schnapps. Add a few drops of orange food coloring to make the color more vivid if you want to.

Yellow Layer
3 oz. pkg Pineapple Jell-O
1 cup water
1/2 cup canned coconut milk
1/2 cup Vanilla schnapps
Yellow food coloring (if desired)
Bring the water to a boil. Add to Jell-O and stir till dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature. Stir in coconut milk and vanilla schnapps. Add a few drops of yellow food coloring for more vivid color.
Yield depends on the size of cup you use... makes about 24 2oz shots.

When I was on holiday last summer I mixed this.....

...which is basically very cheap Bacardi, with this...

...which is basically a mix of pineapple and coconut juice.

The result: Cheap, easy and totally yummy pina coladas

I'm easily pleased lol, and sometimes the most simple things are just the best.
