This is somewhat unrelated, but does Lush notify us before the expiry date of our membership, so we can re-up without lapsing?
Quote by simplyjohn
I am 99% certain that the answer is no to that. As I am sure you know if you go to the Lush Gold page it does say when your membership expires.

My threads are getting deleted, I have been told by this LiZ person "do not post any new threads"
Why my threads are going locked? Why I am being treated in this why? please

@LiZ
I haven't purchased any premium or gold membership or whatever it is and yet I have been mailed for the expiry of the same on the very second day of my joining the site.
It is the thing what is bothering me.

It is easy for you to say don't panic or nothing to worry about. So, I guess. It had been 36 hours and I haven't heard a singe word from the site owner.
I had my cards compromised and I had received that suspicious mail from the site. I don't think it could all be a coincidence. Even if it is, I don't know. I am still worried. It was my money. I need to speak with site owner.
My threads get moved and locked, other one was deleted by moderators and I am being told not to post new threads by one other moderators. I am being treated as if I am guilty of some crime.

Let's try this one more time, nice and slow: Stop posting multiple threads in the forum about this issue. The next time you do so I will suspend your account. Do we understand each other?
You have said nothing until now about your 'cards being compromised'. If that is the case, I strongly recommend you speak to your credit card company about the matter. You need to take it up with them.
Your behaviour is starting to represent that of an internet troll. If I were Nicola, I wouldn't want to speak to you either.
Calm down.

I have no idea what is really happening? I have heard that it often happens, people get ripped on porn sites and sites hacked people financial and other important credentials to steal money. Has my account have been compromised here on Lush or something?

I can't help myself, allcan ..... but you need to relax a bit .....
I have been a member here (on and off) since October 2009 ....... and no one has ever been "ripped off" by Lush. You are being wound up by your own thoughts and lashing out at a site that has obviously not "ripped you off" since you did not give them (Lush) your credit card information.
There are often things that happen with computers (and sites) that randomly happen. Hell, I work in a law firm with huge securities and I still want to throw my computer out the window when I return from vacation because settings "randomly" change. Computers are ALIVE .... and love to fuck with you (and me) .... so ... breathe .... you have not been personally attacked by anyone here on lush ..... be a bigger person and wait to see what happens. You've addressed your problem, and LET other's do their job (in peace). Repeatingly adding threads or comments will NOT make anything move faster for you.

I had a report of this about a week ago. The member had left and returned some time later with a different account name and got that same email.

Can I just bump this to make the point again that we know at least one other member has received the same email when he joined. There are likely more that thought nothing of it and simply deleted it and forgot about it.

I signed up here on lush on 6th Aug 2014. Today, when I signed in Lush, I saw a mail, it was sent to me on 7th Aug 2014 and it says, "Your premium membership has expired. Thanks again for supporting the site. Just to let you know that your premium membership has just expired. Cheers, Admin"
I checked my email, with which I have verified the Lush Account. There was nothing in there in the inbox.
So, I thought that it was some sort of dirty trick of site, to extract money out of users or perhaps some cheep promotion stuff.
Later, in Junk mails, I found that I had been emailed by the site acknowledging the same mail for "premium membership expiry"
I don't know what is going on. I checked all my cards. I tried to speak with this Nicola person, she is the owner of site that I found out, but it says she won't communicate with me.
I have no idea what is really happening? I have heard that it often happens, people get ripped on porn sites and sites hacked people financial and other important credentials to steal money. Has my account have been compromised here on Lush or something?
Please, read it again, if could and try to notice the things in red. Then if could just visit my profile there is a another thread. If could read it.

I had asked this above, but I wanted to confirm that I'm right. Now that I have, I will ask again.
You signed up with an email to verify your account.
You received an email saying your gold membership (which you never had) was expiring.
You never gave the site a credit card, because you never bought a membership.
With the above facts, it is impossible that your card was charged. The site never had the number to charge it. This tirade seems less than legitimate to me.
Cutting and pasting the same response won't change this. How could they charge you if you never gave them a card?

I need to know that from Nicola, the site owner. I can't take your word or moderator's word for it. I Know I am repeating myself cause you guys can't just seem to read. "I fucking got the suspicious mail form her site and I got my cards hacked on the similar dates"

Thank you for the clarification however it may not be relevant that you have not had an account here before.
