Anything but without the apple pie. Don't like a cooked apple.

I'll serve it with ice cream for other folks, but 90% of the time I eat just pie, myself.
[BTW: in New England a lot of folks will put a slice of cheddar cheese on a slice of apple pie. It's pretty good.]

I like my apple pie made the same year I eat it. I am not sure that is true at my local restaurant.

We have that here in Canada, too (I'm in Ontario but if it's in New England, I imagine our Maritimes do it, too). Dad used to put this really ancient cheddar on his pie.

I prefer ice cream myself.

I know some people like it with cheese, but that has never worked for me. We usually offer our visitors a choice of either vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Adults seem to go for whipped cream and kids go for ice cream most of the time.

Apple pie with brown sugar cinnamon ice cream. Or a slice or three of old cheddar.
Whipped cream on apple pie is sacrilegious.

I can't stand any type of pie, whether it be apple or chicken pot. Pure nastiness. Not to mention, it's a crap shoot with who can make a tolerable crust.

I'd like cake or hot fudge sundae please, but...if I HAD to choose, I'd probably go with the vanilla ice cream with the pie.

If it's a regular crust apple pie I serve it with French Vanilla ice cream. Dutch Apple Crumb pie I serve with cinnamon whipped cream.

For myself, I prefer ice cream on my pie.

Well, not just on pumpkin pie, surely. It goes perfectly with genitalia, too..

I am a Purist.

Just the Naked Beautiful Indulgent Apple Pie.

No frills.

I don't like anything ice cream, whipped cream, custard(??) or cheddar cheese on mine. No way. Don't ruin it!!

I just love to enjoy the flakiness of the crust, the sweet and tartness of the apples that have baked in their own juices with a little help of some lemon, liberally sprinkled with cinnamon and sugars with a dash of nutmeg.

Oh yeah .... just the Apple Pie, thank you!

Apple pie with ice cream is running away with it.

For me, ice cream complements apple pie, while custard competes with it.

I like custard with spotted dick *shut up* and sticky toffee pudding

I prefer pouring cream with warm apple pie.

I also prefer custard on my spotted dick!
