If the ball is legal, then Seattle.

I can't say that I really care, as I despise BOTH teams (Cowboys fan here) but although I HOPE I'm WRONG... the Patriots. Carroll isn't the coach Billie B is (no matter what you think of him) And talent wise they're pretty evenly matched this year.

Looking up, (rofl) well, you're a lil hottie...but your taste in football teams leaves a LOT to be desired. ;) I'll resist the urge to say...

It was pretty much a dead even match. A freak play almost pulled it out for Seattle, then they went a called the doofus play call of the year. Interception from the 1 yard line. Just run the ball. And don't get in a fight.

Hindsight may be 20/20, but I just don't see why on Earth you don't run it with Lynch. If NE holds up, or forces him to fumble and recovers, then hats off to NE (hats off to them anyway, btw, to you NE fans....) ; but that, from the moment you saw Wilson was actually gonna' pass, was a real 'head-scratcher' and what ended up happening is exactly WHY you don't run a play like that in that kind of situation. I just hate it when the coaches lose a game for a team and that's what happened. I thought Pete Carroll was too smart to try to get cute....apparently not.

I'm super sad that we didn't win, all we needed was lynch to run the ball..it was a good game though...just sad it all ended on a shitty call. We did good this year though..love my hawks. smile

The axiom "3 things can happen when you pass, and two of them are bad" are really hitting home for Seattle now.

there are not enough face palm images in the world for calling a pass with 2nd and one.....

ESPECIALLY with a RB like Lynch to hand it off too! As I said before the game, the difference was...the coaching. That bad play call and poor discipline cost them that game.tZxMxFGahTAIEfGC

First, it may have been the greatest football game I ever saw. Very few penalties, lot of big plays, score going back and forth and it came don't to last play. Especially after last years disaster!

As for the PLAY, I can understand the logic behind calling a pass but not THAT pass. If they ran and didn't make it then they would have to call their last time out and it would be 3rd and 1 with say 18 sec left. Then they run on 3rd down and if they don't make it they can't stop the clock and maybe never get to run a 4th down play. OK, chances are with a RB like Lynch they would have scored. But if they wanted to pass why not a pass to the corner of end zone like the one NE scored the go ahead TD on. Either your guy catches it or it is incomplete. If incomplete the clock stops and you still have your TO so you can run Lynch twice if needed.

I wanted NE to win so I am happy. BUT when Seattle ran to the 1yd line there was about 1 min left. I was shocked than NE didn't call a TO so it would at least leave Brady some time to get the tying FG. Even though NE won, I am really surprised no reporters have brought that up.

All in all,

A+ Game

Maybe a B for commercials, loved the Fiat Viagra commercial and the puppy was cute, LOL

C- for halftime! Liked the open and close but Katy is a lot more enjoyable with the sound turned off, LOL

BOO!!!!

Was a great game though. So many games over the years have been boring blowouts. This was nice.

The halftime show sucked....even Lenny couldn't save it.

i'm surprised about the reviews for the halftime show, most people seem to think it wasn't very good. i couldn't care less about katy perry('s music), but i thought it was a phenomenal show. yeah, i'd prefer for missy elliott to have been left in 2002 where she belongs, but otherwise, DID YOU GUYS SEE THAT KICKASS 3 STORY LION SHE RODE IN ON? OR WHEN SHE FLEW AROUND ON THE SHOOTING STAR! SHIT! i personally was impressed.

I don't know why noone's giving Malcom Butler any credit. He jumped that like someone told him what the play was.

But ya, worst playcall in super bowl history for sure. Pete carroll said he had what he wanted it was gonna be a run play untill NE subed in thier goal line D . Then he switched to exploit the matchup.

No clue why they didnt try and be a little more deceptive and try som playaction roll out type bootleg shit with Russell Wilson . they had 25 seconds to work with .

t's EASY to second guess Carroll, 20/20 hindsight and Monday morning QB's are NEVER wrong. On the other hand, there is NO RB, not even the greatest of them (Jim Brown, John Riggins, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton nor any of the others) who was NEVER either stopped for no gain or tackled for a loss. IF the pass had been completed for the TD...CARROLL IS A GENIUS! IF it were a TD, he would have out smarted Billie B (who has made a few well known blunders of his own) and done what NO ONE (especially the Pats defense) was expecting. As it stands, Browner made a great play at a crucial point in the game. Congrats to the Pats, but other teams will under rate the Seahawks next year at their own expense!

2nd and one at the goal line and they drop wilson back into the shotgun formation? as i said in my post above you can see Malcom butler was all over that slant route like he was in the seahawks huddle . Belichick outcouched Carroll in the last minute of that game. He ' didnt call time out to stop the clock , he kept it rolling , putting presssure on Seattle. They choked , simple as that.

It was the greatest game in the history of the Super Bowl!!!!

14-14 at the half? Yes please!! No "field goal" Super Bowls, thank you. Momentum shifts! Big plays, nail biter of an ending! Fluke catch. Stupid play call. Brilliant defensive play by a ROOKIE to win the game!! One of the greatest QBs of all time vs young QB becoming one of the greats! What wasn't to love about this game? Did I mention I grew up in Maine?

Halftime show? I enjoyed it mostly. I DJ weddings and other events. KP is very much part of my stock and trade and I don't mind her compared to other bubblegum pop stars. I actually like the song California Gurls. That fucking lion was awesome!

And the NE Patriots are The Super Bowl Champs!

That was pretty cool, that's why I said the Opening and the End of her show were impressive. Although I would have preferred that when she was flying around that she wore a mini skirt instead of the long dress so the fans could see her Goodies!!HAHA

dammit...i need to start reading posts more closely before i quote and look like an idiot, ha. but now that mini skirt idea, that has merit. biggrin
