Agreed we are all old enough to choose what we want to see I don't need big brother telling me I can't look at something that might offend another. To Hell with censorship we are supposed to have freedom of speech are we not?

Its not so much the content of sites ..more what little extras they send to you
It would be foolish not to block sites that are known to give you extra special treats

That's interesting DB. Has he tried other proxy services like http://www.guardster.com ? I was given that one once by my host once when the site wasn't showing, and it turned out I could see the site via them, but not directly - that one turned out to be an ISP problem.
