Many of you already know me, but as I've been gone for almost a year, I thought I'd spend a moment and introduce myself to those who do not.

I've been a Moderator at Lush for several years now. As a moderator, I've been given a chance to give back to the Lush community and contribute a least in a small way to something that is truly unique on the web.

As a member, my primary focus has been on my writing. In that at least, I have been very fortunate. My 52 various stories and poems have been well received by my readers and in the five plus years I've posted here I have been awarded 15 Recommended Reads, 9 Editor's Picks and an Outstanding Series award. I also share an Editors Pick with a very talented member named Principessa. My purpose here is to point out a few of my best stories so that those readers unfamiliar with my work might know where to start, but for those interested, this link will take you to the full list of my work.

Most of my stories contain strong emotional elements with an emphasis on development of the plot and a more poetic style of prose. (At least that is my intent). My strength is in imagery rather than grammatical perfection, which is probably because I'm dyslexic and the fine details often elude my notice. Still, I'm held to the same standard as we all are by my fellow moderators and I've received my share of those pesky emails requesting I clean up some portion of my work. I can assure you, no one escapes the Quality requirements and everyone is equal when our stories are sitting in queue.

Each of these stories have been well received by my readers and three have EP's. The fourth, Candace Down Under was written in honor of a very special friend and has been awarded a Recommended Read.

In the years I've been with Lush, I've entered several Competitions. I haven't won yet, but I'm always hoping for the best. The truth is, there are some truly excellent writers here so all I can hope is that I'll strike gold someday. That's said, I do have a 2nd place for My Fathers Day Gift and 3rd place finish for Love Birds.

Lastly, but in many ways, most importantly are my collaborations. I have been very lucky to have had the chance to write with some exceedingly talented writers. Poppet, Jayne33, Sweet_as_Candy, Dirty_D and Principessa have all granted me their time and skill, and together we have written some of the best composed and hottest stories I know of. Ethan, co written by the incredible Sweet_as_Candy was my first collaboration and remains probably the purely dirtiest story I've had the pleasure of writing. It was this story that convinced me that sharing creative thoughts made me a much better writer. This one will make a five-dollar gigolo blush.

Principessa and I have written an astonishing 7 stories together. More than any other of my esteemed co writers, she and I mesh perfectly. Our styles and strengths make the work we write together arguably better than what we create individually. I know this to be true for me, anyway. If someone were to twist my arm, I would admit I wish these stories appeared on my page as well. I'm incredibly proud of them.

The first is the EP award winning Legal Intrigue and its sequel. These works are deep, thoughtful, erotic and far better written than anything I could do on my own.

The next series, Power Play, has won an Recommended Read for all 5 chapters and while it has not won the red ribbon of an Outstanding Series, I firmly believe that it is the finest multi-part series on the site. I dare anyone who reads half of part one not to want to finish the rest. That it has not won ranks with the Loch Ness monster as one of the great mysteries of our time ;)

The last stories were excellent and heart wrenching tales written with Dirty_D. These stories flowed so naturally in their creation, I felt like I was living it as it happened. These are truly romantic masterpieces, and both were awarded Recommended Reads.

As I intend to update this thread with news and updates of my writing, I would like to provide links to my latest two works. These are the first solo creations I've posted in quite awhile, but I hope you will agree that they are worth a look.

My first poem in perhaps two years is a quick read but one that I hope describes what passion is to a man. This poem has been awarded the Recommened Read, an honor many of my poetic attempts have failed to achieve.

I think if I had to sum up Milik's particular brand of erotica in one word it would be artisanal. Every story is finely crafted, every word deliberately placed for maximum effect. Distinctive, smooth and seemly effortless, yet clear that a lot of time and hard work went into each piece. His accolades and devoted following speak for themselves.

I was happy to partner with Milik the first time we discussed it. Anyone who has read his work knows that he is more than capable of writing on his own. That this collaboration on "Legal Intrigue" would carry on with a five-part story, "Power Play", was unexpected. We seem to work effortlessly together. I am grateful for this experience and the stories that we created. We hoped to write something compelling, that would keep readers wondering what would happen next with both stories. I believe we succeeded. It would be my pleasure to collaborate with Milik again.

I would like to announce my 3rd story in the Gay Male genre and the first of the subject to win the Recommended Read!

Night Trawling: The Trucker is meant as the first of a set of unrelated stories dedicated to those of us who have scoured the streets, dives, bars and any other seedy local for paid or no strings attached sex. All of these stories will carry the title 'Night Trawling'

My hope with these stories is to capture that arousal we all feel that has nothing to do with our relationships. Whether we have just thought about doing something like this or made a lifestyle of it, I think most of us know how that need to just go get laid can be overpowering.

I have to admit that when Milik and I started talking about writing a story together, I was a bit intimated by the notion, because I view Milik as such incredible writer, I didn't think I'd match his level. However, once he and I started to toss ideas around, it fell together beautiful. Inspired slightly by one of my previous stories, we were able to make our own, together.

Milik has such patients and smarts, it's fun to write with him. I love bouncing ideas off of him and watching our story grow was a lot of fun! I learned a lot from his style, as I'm sure he did with me. Since he and I don't write exactly alike, but we made it work. I was extremely happy that our story was even given a recommended read.

It's been a pleasure, and as I said an honor to work with a man like Milik. I urge you all to read his stories.

Two years ago I began a coming of age story that showed great promise. So much so that I was never happy with how it unfolded as I tried to complete it. Recently, I went back to this work and this time, I was able to write a conclusion worthy of it. So, I am now proud to announce that my First Time story, Date Night is submitted for moderation.
