Sublimation, but I can't use that it was a band my youngest son was in. I just love the name and that most of their friends had to look up the meaning of the word. Although it was a bit disconcerting to discover you're middle school child had co written lyrics to a song called "Love Dungeon".
Or I could use the one another son thought would be funny. "Screams of my Victims". So when someone asks what you're listening to they could say "screams of my victims".
Yes my kids( they are all grown now) have turned out just as slightly demented as I am with the same sense of humor. Sorry world.
Or my favorite band name story. Another son was listening to his ipod in school, many years ago, it was frowned upon. His teacher came along and asked who he was listening to. He told her "Flogging Molly". The teacher was not amused, her first name happened to be Molly. I got a call and had to show up to the assistant principal's office with a Flogging Molly cd to prove it was a band.
My band name...The MOBS (it would only include mothers of only boys)
