I don't generally look at church as a place to find someone to hook up with. It's a place for dealing with my spirituality, not my sexuality. That said, if I and the other person belong to the same church, that means we likely have at least some common ground to start from in a relationship. My own church, Unitarian Univeralist, is fairly open-minded on most issues (we were blessing same sex couples long before it was legal to marry them) so I imagine one could find a fair diversity of sexual orientations and ideas. More conservative churches that have sexual hangups and taboos would likely be less amenable to a fulfilling sexual relationship.
But, again, my bottom line is that I don't go to church to get laid. I go to get uplifted, inspired, and to find my place in the universe.
