True, Bethany, but there are still a lot of places where you can't get a signal, or your battery might be low, or you may not have your phone with you. This is a good back up just in case it's needed.

Cell phones are strange creatures. I can call home from Valdez, Alaska (350 miles away) and be clear as a bell. But I can also sit in the parking lot of the cell phone company and not get a damn signal!
