Some humans would do anything to see if it was possible to do it. If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying "End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH" the paint wouldn't even have time to dry...

The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions.
~Alfred Lord Tennyson

Women need a reason to have sex. Men just need a place.
~Billy Crystal (i might not agree with it for myself but for others)

Sex on television can't hurt you unless you fall off. ~Author Unknown

When a guy goes to a hooker, he's not paying her for sex, he's paying her to leave. ~Author Unknown

No matter how much cats fight, there always seem to be plenty of kittens. ~Abraham Lincoln

“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and unspeakable love.” ~ Washington Irving

"Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It make you so vulnerable. It opens up your chest and it opens up your heart and it mean someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole set of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different than any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life... You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. The did something du mb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and your life isn't yours anymore. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. Eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should just be friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. Its a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love." ~Neil Gaima

The problem with the world is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

I hope so. I think he was right.
I mean how stupid do you have to be to be told not to blow dry your hair in the shower?
Or to thaw and heat a tv dinner? Not to put a plastic bag over your head from the dry cleaners?
To shampoo your hair that you have to get it wet and then apply the shampoo?

Or to understand that the coffee you just got from the girl is HOT, and if you spill it on your no-no parts, they'll get SCALDED? Or that if you light the fuse, you should place the fucking thing on the ground and get the hell away? Or...

I think of it as "Evolution in Action".

I agree MNP.
One of my favorites is when you do anything electrical around the house and it says to turn off the electric at the main box first. Or to unplug it before attempting to work on it. I say HELL NO! Let them work on the outlet while the juice is still running to it! LMAO.

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable, let's prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.
