Mister Male, thanks for the song. It's a nice, mellow nerve de-frazzler.

Sharon, don't know about services today. The Right Rev hasn't come out of his Pastor's Study where he's been, uh, meditating since LSU lost to 'Bama. :)

Ha, you reckon?? It's too damned cold here to get nekkid (as you so quaintly put it) ;)

Ah, Nice to see the Dirty one back!!! I was worried about him!

Busy day for me so far, dentist, groceries and now cooking probably enough food to last the rest of the week!

Got a gig tonight - going to see Julian Cope, who was one of the first gigs I ever went to (much longer ago than I care to either share or remember!)

NN, bring on the food!! Sounds good!

So, I hear you guys over the water have some political thing on today? evil4

Anyhoo... Better go and look busy!

Laterz!!!

Two days till: Get Nekkid and Rum Amok Friday.

Scooter, if Busty ever found a couple bottles of San Miguel in this joint, she'd have to wrestle me for them which, come to think of it, might be fun. Besides if she served them to you in the manner you prefer, it could result in you suffocating. That might not be the worst way to go, of course, except you'd never get into heaven afterward.

According to the Right Rev., when St. Peter ask how'd you die and you told him, he'd look at you open disbelief and say, "Oh, go to hell." Sorry about that.

Mazza, feel free to drop into the dumpster hot tub this Friday. The temp both in the tub and outside will be perfect, honest.

That was a great story Rump. Made my eyes sweat.
Heard a tale or two about those places from the Marines. Well, as much as they'd tell a wife. Cleaned up a lot I'm sure.

It's morning in Lushland. The Caffine Fairy dropped off a big pot of celebratory coffee to, what else, celebrate the end of the national elections here in the US of A region of Lushland. Enjoy.

Glad you liked that article, Chef. Having been in the Army, I spent all my off-duty hours at the USO, in Christian Science reading rooms, and post libraries. Still, there did seem to be a feel of authenticity about the writing. :)

I'll have a cuppa. Congratulations and condolences as appropriate to the American Lushers. I rather enjoyed watching the coverage, esp. the tight races in places like Ohio and Florida. Went to bed well before it was decided, though. Of course, I have the benefit of not having a stake in the results beyond how the new President is going to treat Canada (and, to be honest, Romney might have been the better option for us given his stands on some border issues and the fact that he used to holiday here when he lived in Michigan so actually knows a bit about us).

Didn't get to bed until 2. What a race. Saw that Gary Johnson got over 1.1 million votes. That should be food for thought for the blue and red teams. People are getting tired of all the back biting. Just put on your big boy pants and get down to making the country right again. I heard that if it was a tie with the electoral votes that the house and senate would choose the potus and vice potus. Romney and Biden. Now wouldn't THAT have been interesting? Can you imagine?

Hey, thanks for the info on Johnson, chef. I hadn't actually looked into the 3rd party results, yet. My son is an ardent libertarian (at 13!) so he'll be interested in Johnson's showing. Libertarians are next to invisible up here (even more so than in your country) so I don't think he really knew about them until Paul's run for the Republican nomination.

As for the "Romney-Biden" idea, which an analyst up here mentioned a week or two ago, I suspect that would result in either an actual, functioning government or a bad comedy sketch. Guess we'll never know which.

Well, I don't know what is going on with my computer but I was on Lush and was lagging really badly, so I decided to log off and reboot my computer. And now I can't seem to log back into it.. My Windows keeps saying their is something plugged into my computer but there isn't, nor has there been.. I'm not sure what's going on. I don't know anything about computers not in that sense anyways. So I tried to reboot again hoping to by pass it, no luck. I did what they wanted it and it's just an endless cycle of the same two screens. Now I have to take it to Best Buy in hopes they can fix it.. I really hope nothing happened to it because I was on Lush.. This is really the only site I come on anymore. I have a virus program. I just don't know.. I'm so stressed.

So, fingers crossed on Best Buy helping me..
Thankfully I have two computers, sadly everything I own is on the other computer.. I might lose it all.. Including all my stories.. :(

Not having a good day.. :l

Morning, to all who, lusting after the Lush life, come....

Busty claims to have found a new brand of coffee that unlike 'normal' coffee wasn't mountain grown, but more like toxic waste dump raised. She swears on a stack of Victoria Secret catalogs that this new brew has a taste you won't soon forget. O-k-a-y.

Today being Thursday means that, odds are, tomorrow will be Friday, the day for Rumplations' next, Get Nekkid and Run Amok, festival out back by the dumpster hot tub. Misbehave accordingly.

I think I need some No-Doz in my coffee this morning, but I'll take a pass on the Toxic Waste Dump brew. *yawn* You promise tomorrow will be Friday?

Good Thursday evening Rump and friends,

Apparently DirtyMartini is OK, he sent me his drum kit so it wouldn't get flooded out.
I'm thinking about setting it up for "get nekkid quick (cause it's cold) an Run Amuk Night", come Friday.
Out Back, by Rumpster's Dumster pool.

CG, seems you've had the place to yourself. Hope you haven't gotten too frisky with Coma and Tose.
Last time that happened (it was Slippery's fault, or maybe Chef's, no wait, bet it was Naughty, possibly Poppet) anyway, last time it happened, we had to hose the fellows down and they DO hate water.
The toxic waste coffee is okay unless you spill some on the bar (mars the surface something fierce) or splash some on your clothes (tends to create holes).

Thanks for the kind comment you left me. Much appreciated.

Good, GET NEKKID AND RUN AMOK Friday, morning fellow Lushketeers. There's coffee, hot chocolate and tea to get you started with plenty of Beaver Breath Brandy to smooth out the process. Other than that, the water's hot and the drinks are cold. Just two, not exactly 'rules', more like pleas: don't pee in the tub and make sure Terrance doesn't drown his fool self trying to make like a water spider.

Happy Friday to my Rumpled friends. I love that drum kit Scootie Scoot. I would soo have that at my house.

Terrance has been cold and snuggled in between my girls all night but we're supposed to start warming up here in the Sunshine State so he'll be able to come out and play.
Husband said it was 19 in Alberta yesterday. Dang fool can keep it. It got below 70 here and I've been freezing my pretty butt off.
Sound off everybody! Rump? What's it lookin like in Lukenbach? Naughty? Slippery? Scoot? What's the weather doing?
I think I hear an echo in here. Where is everybody? Oh well. More for me. BBB and hot coffee sounds pretty good right now.

You two girls are such sissies. You'd have liked it here east of Luckenbach. Temps been in the mid-80's. However (there's always a 'however' when it comes to weather) there's supposed to be a cold front come through Sunday.

Think it's next weekend when Austin will hold its first ever Formula One race. Word has it local business-types are importing hookers, that is to say, ladies of negotiable virtue, to fill the expected off-track demand. Ain't free enterprise grand?

Good morning all, each and every one of yous,

After all these crazy days of celebration such as; sweetest day, boss's day, secretary day, presidents day, birthdays (there seems to be a new one or two every day), and 420 day, we finally have one I can sink my teeth into; "Veterans Day"
I wish the best to all veterans and there families.

That's awful good of you CurlyGirly. sure, I'll have a taste of what ever you have there.
A Big Sandwich would be good right about now also.tongue8

Chef, I brought that drum kit in just for you. Careful banging on them babies though, looks like a good way to bust a few drum sticks.
We have enjoyed balmy 60 degree weather since Tuesday morning, and today will be the last until about Thanksgiving Thursday.
That's about the time Indian Summer sets in around here. The golfing has been fantastic. We've pretty much had the run of the course.

Hard Drive troubles or not, keep up the good work Poppet.
I know it sounds crazy, but jot those thoughts of yours down on paper before they are lost forever..

Don't take all the nice weather back to Florida naughty, leave us all a few degrees anyways.

Well, once again, the golf Gods are waiting,,

I will certainly share Poppet and Scoot. The beer tasting was a fabulous time. In fact, I might still be able to taste it. Embarassed Need to go brush my tongue again. Ended up singing with a friend in her kitchen until 2:30 this morning. Embarassed Today is going to be much quieter. Almost 60 here now, so I think I might take the kayak out in a bit. Happy Sunday, Kids.

Happy Veterans Day! I got a load of bad news and it's dealing with the school newspaper that I'm a part of. Without going into too much detail, the faculty adviser of the newspaper (who's also my journalism professor) is in a lot of trouble. I had to resign from the newspaper and get copies of the paper where my articles and photography have been featured. My website is going to become an online portfolio of what I've done at the paper. I really want to gain employment in journalism and have a legitimate excuse to work from home.

I did lose all of my stories when my flash drive decided to stop working for me. Luckily, I stored them all in an email I sent to myself. My special brew glass is lost crybaby .

Oh, dearly beloved, life is good, in fact, if not for Lady Sharon's travails, it would be damn near perfect. (mucho sympathy, Sharon)

My Saints just whipped the dirty bird Falcons 31-27, knocking them off their undefeated perch. my college teams all won, and things went better than expected last Tuesday.

Only downside is with Tex A&M beating formerly undefeated and top ranked, Alabama, the Agggies around here may be even harder than usual to endure this week. :)

Scooter, stroke your brains out while ye may -- yeah, I know, it's November, but work with me on this, okay?

CG, so, like, you know, what songs were you 'singing' last night? Here's hoping they were psalms of an uplifting nature.

To be perfectly honest, Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves by Cher started our downward singing spiral. Embarassed We also murdered some Journey, Pat Benatar, Hugo, QOTSA, Outkast, Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, and Indigo Girls. We were pretty much all over the road.
