As a newbie Lush author, I am toying with this possibility. I have written two confessional type stories from my very checkered past. I have found myself surprised at how much I have enjoyed revisiting old memories and putting them into word finally. Outside of my diary growing up, I have never written anything that features me as the main character and I've found it expectedly exciting! I would like to share the stories I have written with my "counterpart character", with the hopes he would be flattered and enjoy remembering back to those moments with me. But lots of mixed emotions about it though as I have no idea how it would be received. And I cannot be with him in the long run so maybe I am opening up a can of worms... Which typically happens when I am between relationships in real life. Idle hands being the devil's playground and all... LOL
Wondering if anyone has any feedback who has written a true story and then shared it with the person who inspired it. Was the story well received? would you do it again? Were they shocked and mortified you had posted a confessional on an erotica site (even if the names were changed?).....
Just wondering...
From my experience.. People who inspire stories are normally flattered to know as much.. Can't comment on the can of worms thing.. revisiting old memories does stand the risk of bringing to head the old feelings.. but you know you.. x

My story is a true one. It was originally written as a "dirty love letter" to my wife for Valentine's Day. I had never written anything like this before and she was a little shocked at first, and then she was very pleased with it. A little while later, I posted it here and sent her the link. Again, she was a bit shocked that an intimate story featuring her was posted publicly, but I assured her it was anonymous. Later, she told me it turned her on to know that the story was online for anyone to read. She has since told two of her girlfriends about it, but so far she has not let them read it. Her friends were very impressed that I would do such a thing, but they said that they wouldn't want to read it. I think they lie. Lol! Seriously, if you had a link to the kind of story published on this site that your friends husband wrote for her, wouldn't you be curious and want to read it?
I've written 4 stories that are 100% true. I shared one of them with the girl I wrote it about. The other ones, I would not share with the people that they are about (unless I edited them a little first). IN my true stories I tend to be a quite honest and truthful, which would probably offend them.
Honestly I think it matters if the writer is a man or a woman. As a man, I would feel I was being dishonest and dishonerable about writing about one of women I have been with unless she actually asked me to. To me that goes under the kiss and tell rule. On the other hand, men are not as likely to be hurt or upset if one of lush's beautiful lady writes want to tell everyone how good he was in the sack.
Then again, maybe Im just to old fashioned.
I've shared some actual stories about hubby and myself, as well as my first partner. Hubby finds it flattering and funny as well. I doubt he's ever told anyone else about my writing though. My first ever recently contacted me via Facebook to inquire if I was indeed "CastleQueen" as he'd found the site and had read the story, and it was kind of a pleasant rehash of the old days.

The only story that I have submitted was true. I have written my love several of our encounters and she was the push to send it. She is my insperation and I hope to share our storys again. She always gets the first read and I trust her judgement.
Have written stories and poems for or about many different men. They loved the stories sometimes the poems were a little deep and got to them.

Bunny Rabbits cute and fuzzy they want to love you but they have razor sharp teeth - don't piss them off! Unfortunately, that isn't something that I can do. I write stories about one particular person and create a character partner for him. She harbors all my feelings and fantasies about him. Maybe its transference, or she can be viewed as my "stand-in". I'm not exactly sure. I'm just glad I have the ability to share my work. I'm fixated on him and the feelings need to go somewhere.
Yeah...my Jerrell and Eva stories. I shared 'em with Eva and it brought up a lot of memories.
