Interview with Castlequeen
Castlequeen has written a dozen stories so far, and all have been well received, scoring highly. She is married to a very talented designer, who does her avatars, amongst other things.
She recently made an announcement that she's soon to become a mum, so congratulations Castlequeen, and best of luck!
We hope you enjoy the interview.

Raymond Feist-He can combine action, battle, sorcery and a rather credible romance all into one great storyline.
The Empire Series by Feist and Janny Wurts- THE Fantasy heroine for the ages in Mara of the Acoma.
The book that changed my life
Gone With The Wind-another literary heroine, Scarlett took no crap from any guy...
What are you currently reading
I'm re-reading a great deal of my childhood favorites, in anticipation of introducing my child to them someday. I know, way too early, but I'm having fun. However I may need to change some of the titles depending on the sex of the child, I don't know how well a little boy could relate to Little House On The Prairie...LOL
I'm inspired by...
Life, there's so much going on!
I started writing because...
I'd mentally add to stories as a kid. Way back in junior high I wrote an account of Aragorn and Arwen's "first date". From there I wrote my own ideas out.
Aside from writing, what occupies your time
Work, my husband, learning about my pregnancy, and my totally shameful hobby of doing disco karaoke.
How did you get in to writing erotica?
Um, a stolen copy of my Dad's Penthouse magazine opened my eyes to a new world. I tried to write from a girl's perspective however and add a little more class.
What's your favourite writing genre and why
I seem to write in the incest/lesbian stuff don't I? I have no real idea why, although I did have a very minor (very, very, very minor) "fling" with my brother for a few months during high school. I guess the closeness of the bond between siblings makes for an interesting story.
Where do you get your creative juice/story ideas from?
Anything and everything. The names in all of my stories come from real life, obviously different situations though.
What are your turn-ons?
Real men, pretty boys like DiCaprio don't do a thing for me, give me Brendan Fraser or George Clooney any day! Good solid shoulders, if he's got a great grin and that little boy smile, I am so hooked. Hmmm....that describes hubby perfectly. No real surprise there, eh?
What are your turn-offs?
Extreme rough stuff, a "been naughty have you?" spanking, yes, extreme pain, no way, it's too "real" if you know what I mean, it's NOT erotic.
Poor hygiene is also a deal breaker. I have a fairly sensitive nose and can tell if a guy's showered before he picks me up.
Music I frequently listen to
Just about anything except hardcore rap.
My favourite work of art is
Too many to list!
Which websites do you regularly visit
Lushstories.com, they're pretty cool there...LOL
www.dvdverdict.com, www.theonion.com, www.democraticunderground.com
What would be a perfect weekend for you
Sleep in, a quick roll in the hay, breakfast, read for a bit, shopping part one (essential stuff), lunch, shopping part two (shoes and stuff I don't need!), a nap, dinner with hubby somewhere nice, maybe a little dancing, and then I take him home and do my best to exhaust him to the point of unconsciousness.
Your typical female weekend I think...
Ideal holiday destination
We were going to go skiing in Europe this winter, but we'll have to postpone it until next year. I can't wait to hit the snow in some of the legendary courses!
At home I cook
Well enough to stay out of divorce court...LOL
The hardest thing I've ever done was
Confront my parents about the emotional abuse my brother and I suffered.
Most surprising thing people could find out about you
If they don't know me well, my love for high speed and hot cars blows them away.
I don't like talking about...
Well, I don't like talking about it so I won't tell you....
What I find amusing is
Monty Python's, Rowan Atkinson, Peter Sellers
What I don't find amusing is
Sarah Silverman, Dane Cook, aren't comedians supposed to be, well, funny?
If I wasn't me I'd like to be
Nicole Kidman, it'd be nice to be so gorgeous, so talented, and married to Keith Urban....
I often wonder...
What goes through our pet's minds when they see us having sex?
Thanks Castlequeen for you time. We thoroughly recommend you have a read of Castlequeen's work.
