Kurt Vonnegut, Philip K. Dick
Breakfast of Champions, Slaughterhouse Five, Vulcan’s Hammer, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
The book that changed my life
Breakfast of Champions – there is a scene in the book when the main character, an author, is menaced by the characters he created in the book. An homage to the insanity of writing, I think.
What are you currently reading
I'm inspired by...
No one, really.
I started writing because...
I travel a lot and subscribe to a lot of literary magazines. I decided that most of what I read was crap and that I could do better, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Aside from writing, what occupies your time
My work and my family.
How did you get in to writing erotica?
I read that “Chick Lit” was hot, so I took a crack at erotica. I enjoyed writing it and thinking about it afterwards – in other words, my own writing made me horny. A good way to spend the time when alone in a hotel.
What's your favourite writing genre and why
Besides erotica, science fiction with an erotic twist. It’s easy to let your imagination go wild when thinking of strange creatures using their appendages on some helpless woman or alien beings trying to take over the Earth by using sex.
Where do you get your creative juice/story ideas from?
My dreams. I often wake up in the middle of the night and jot down drams. My story “Drax” came to me exactly that way as did “When no means no.”
What are your turn-ons?
Oral sex - giving and receiving.
What are your turn-offs?
Pompous people who think they know everything.
Music I frequently listen to
Heavy metal – old stuff – and also the Stones and Doors.
My favourite work of art is
The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch.
Blade Runner, Apocalypse Now, Yojimbo, Magnificent Seven, all the Alien movies, Carpenter’s The Thing.
Which websites do you regularly visit
What would be a perfect weekend for you
Nude sunbathing and having sex on an isolated beach – all day long!
Ideal holiday destination
Noosa Head, Australia – which is where I had my first “ideal vacation” as described in the last question.
At home I cook
The hardest thing I've ever done was
Go into therapy for sex addiction.
Most surprising thing people could find out about you
I have an IQ of over 180.
I don't like talking about...
Going into therapy for sex addiction.
What I find amusing is
Monty Python and a movie called “The Man who knew too Little.”
What I don't find amusing is
Any reality show.
If I wasn't me I'd like to be
Christina Ricci – hot, sexy, intelligent and a great actress
I often wonder...
If life is real or all this is an illusion.
