A few of my favorite Author's are: Jude Deveraux, Stephanie Meyer, Dean Koontz, and Stephen King.
Perfect, The Velvet Promise By Jude Deveraux. Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer.
The book that changed my life
To Kill a Mockingbird.
What are you currently reading
The Velvet Promise.
I'm inspired by...
Literature, and everything about the beauty of words, sentences, phrases, quotes. It's so intriguing.
I started writing because...
I've been through a lot of things and writing gave me an outlet to express my feelings and provided an escape route when needed.
Aside from writing, what occupies your time
Work, occupies everything that even resembles free time! But when the time comes that I get a rare day off, I like to spend it cooking, and relaxing with a good book or a paintbrush and easel.
How did you get in to writing erotica?
Sex is a beautiful thing, and as an artist and a writer, I love creating beautiful images (whether on canvas, or on paper). Writing erotica feels right to me, and maybe someone will read and be inspired to go beyond what they think is "proper" and stop listening to other's views on what is "right" and "moral" and maybe they will throw off their restraints and do what feels right to THEM.
What's your favourite writing genre and why
Reluctance, because there's something about the primal instinct in a man that he has to chase after a woman and conquer her. And the women in turn gets to be conquered. It's vice versa but the cat and mouse chase always does it for me.
Where do you get your creative juice/story ideas from?
Having an extensive library as a bedroom! The more I read, the more I excercise my mind and my imagination, therefore giving me the tools to think up story ideas.
What are your turn-ons?
A good kisser, and someone who isn't all about TOUCHING. I love to be whispered to when I'm being "turned on" or seduced.
Music I frequently listen to
Strangely enough, I listen to a lot of foreign music, sometimes when we can't understand words, our bodies and minds have to make sense of the feelings and the purpose that the singer is trying to project.
My favourite work of art is
Ironically, a portrait I painted of a man in Guatemala. It was so good it was actually sent to him as a present!
Taken, The Holiday, Memoirs of a Geisha, Their Eyes were watching God.
Which websites do you regularly visit
Lush of course! ^^ Also i visit facebook and myspace on a regular basis.
What would be a perfect weekend for you
Having two full days in a row off work, curled up with a nice guy, a good movie, and just being able to RELAX for once.
Ideal holiday destination
Me, a good friend, and puerto rico for a couple weeks.
At home I cook
Baked pork steaks, chicken, beef steaks, fish, deer. Things out of the garden; okra, tomatos, greens, spinach, carrots, potatos, lettuce, pole beans; pepers, corn, and zuccini. I hardly ever fry anything because healthy eating is the BEST eating.
The hardest thing I've ever done was
Having something REALLY bad happen to me and having to go to the police, I lost my boyfriend because of it, another good friend, and having to endure court and trying to stay sane while I was losing everyone I loved around me.
Most surprising thing people could find out about you
That I write erotica!
I don't like talking about...
Political issues and things like abortion with my father. We always butt heads and end up arguing.
What I find amusing is
I'm christian, and my sister is agnostic. And this makes for some AWESOME conversations.
What I don't find amusing is
When I'm tired and pissed off in my pj's at the grocery store at 11pm at night why do I find guys trying to hit on me? Then I tell them no and they still dont get it and I end up having to be escorted to my car by a cop because they are "in fear for my safety" and the fact that this has happened more than once....
If I wasn't me I'd like to be
There's no one else I'd rather be. Im living life and learning my lessons. If I were someone else who knows what I may have to go through.
I often wonder...
If I'm going to be where I expect myself to be in 7 yrs.
