I agree with all the above plus they are usually more, independent, adventurous and radical and I find those qualities attractive too.

Topic February Fast Approaches... Donald Trump is being taken seriously... Should we be TERRIFIED???
Posted 08 Mar 2016 02:42

Dunno why you're all excited about immigration and the emotive stuff this loon Trump spouts - typical politician's distracting technique of power mad politicians (now which mustachioed person comes to mind?). Try and remember the guy's past actions rather than his current and self interested rhetoric. Didn't he once take out an ad in a newspaper hoping to kill some guys possibly of immigrant stock (although all of you are except the Sioux and Apaches etc) who were found guilty of murder and rape but they later found the real perpetrator? Anybody done the sums of just how much in % terms do immigration benefits cost the U.S. ? I just hope the ''most powerful man in the world'' really isn't all that powerful and you all sensibly control this fascist nut if he does gain office.

Topic Religion, Bad or Good?
Posted 03 Mar 2016 00:18

If you read the Christian Bible you will find the GOD instructed Moses to destroy their enemy and not to leave any survivors. To destroy them all, men, women, children, their animals and to destroy their crops and cities. He also instructed Moses that they were NOT to take any spoils from the concurred enemies.

Err I presume you can read? I did say the issue is not even debatable.

Topic Religion, Bad or Good?
Posted 02 Mar 2016 15:22

Religion means the worship of a god or gods to me the idea that gods don't exist isn't even a debatable item. My main hassle with religion is they are all based on taking away the fear of death - the biggest bribe of all so I get annoyed that they offer this controlling placebo which understandably has its attractions. They also don't practice what they preach you only have to compare the U.S foreign policy that contrasts with quite a high church attendance - I'm always baffled at that one. I don't remember Christ saying hate your enemies etc and that's not up for interpretation I feel the message is very clear. Don't get me wrong the U.K has an equally bad foreign policy but the church attendance is low.

Topic APPLE... should they? shouldn't they? .. open their iPhone for the FBI?
Posted 26 Feb 2016 13:52

The FBI has a history of misusing the information they get. Why do you think J Edgar Hoover controlled it for so long? He controlled presidents because he ''knew where all the bodies were buried.''

Topic For the Older Lady - What Keeps You into Sex?
Posted 16 Feb 2016 05:50

Seems a strange question. What attracts younger people to sex? I'm sure propagation of the species is not foremost in their minds. Maybe the post meant to say are you still interested which is not quite so slighting.

I just looked at the trailer for this series. It look like it would appeal to people who work in meat production processing the live animals or perhaps coroners.

Topic Sexual or non-sexual, what is the last thing you looked up online and where?
Posted 16 Feb 2016 05:39

The history of circumcision of the U.S.A. I've always been bewildered by the popularity of this disfigurement in that country and so I looked up the reason for it. As in many other strange ideas like war the reason is money. It's a nice little money spinner for US doctors and gained popularity because it was offered as part of a private health package often as a work incentive or so this article told me.

Topic What the Dickens?
Posted 08 Feb 2016 09:56

My first encounter with Dickens was as a child. I read The Old Curiousity Shop. As a kid I just couldn't comprehend the end - my social conscience hadn't yet been aroused. By he way there is a new U.K. tv series where all the inhabitants of a street are well known Dickensian characters. It has mixed reviews I believe - though I haven't seen it myself my gut reaction is that it does sound a weird idea.

Topic What song(s) turn you on?
Posted 02 Feb 2016 07:12

Music is my passion but it doesn't work sexually with me - every other emotion romance, anger, defiance etc but not sex - I might acknowledge some performance or other as sexy but I don't get physically turned on by it. I get very excited by music jump around whilst playing solos on top of tables - anything to add drama but never get aroused by just listening to it. I suppose I'm always analyzing it so in the sexual sense it would be distracting especially for my partner.
