Speaking of vigilante complexes... A story about a veteran shooting a "thug" in chicago last weekend was brought up here. What actually happened was that a small group of people including the veteran left a party and when they got to their car their was a cup on it. Instead of removing the cup and leaving or just driving off and letting the cup fall off they started demanding to know who's cup it was. Instead of the veteran's party just leaving they decided to wait for someone from the other party to go to their home and get a gun. The veteran was not afraid of course and decided to stand his ground and get into an unnecessary gunfight. The veteran hit the guy twice and the guy hit a woman in the veteran's party twice. I bet you the woman in the party wished they would have just left instead of the veteran deciding he was dirty harry. This was a situation created by the veteran because he felt invincible with his gun and he got his friend shot twice because there was a cup on his car and he couldnt let that slide and just leave.

Compare this to the other story that was just brought up about target not wanting guns on its premises and the assumption that muggers are up to date on these new rules (lol) and deciding that because it's a gun free zone they will now go after people at target... because muggings only happen in gun free zones... But anyway the difference is that no one died in those muggings. Probably because the victims didn't pull out a gun.

Just today I read a story about a man killing 6 people including 4 children and also wounding a 15 year old girl in Texas. Most definitely not a gun free state. I also read another story about a 10 year old in North Carolina shooting his grandfather because he had shot his dad. The grandfather died and the dad went to the hospital. This is what is most likely to happen when there are guns in the home. When it is too easy for mentally unstable and irresponsible people to own guns. Domestic violence is usually the outcome. Not some heroic fantasy of saving the weak from thugs.

for those new to the thread, a recap:

guys: YOU WILL ONLY TAKE AWAY MY GUNS OVER MY DEAD BODY!

gals: i'd just like to feel safe.

guys: GUNS ARE FOR IDIOTS!

gals: and be able to go somewhere without being afraid.

guys: THE SECOND AMENDMENT GIVES ME THE RIGHT TO OWN A FUCK LOAD OF GUNS!

gals: and to know that i won't be raped, or harassed, or made to feel like a second class citizen with no voice. i just want to be heard.

guys: YOU'RE A DUMBSHIT!

Brick wall

Most men in this thread have already posted at length about misogyny. It's not really a debate on wether it exists or if it's a problem. The news coming out everyday involves guns so naturally it is a more easily debatable topic. Combining all three aspects of this thread into one post takes a lot of work and is very challenging so I, myself, don't expect people to have the time to write an essay on it. Unfortunately misogyny is a very deep rooted illness in the entire world that is not easily treated. If women weren't allowed to vote, for example, we could debate the voting laws and people could give the pros and cons on women's right to vote in the same way that we can "debate" gun laws. Understand?

I don't care what you think, I CHOSE to enlist because I was fed up with gutless wonders like you who would (IN PUBLIC) talk about how the war was "immoral" and in private admit that they were terrified that their number would come up in the draft and they WOULDN'T have the GPA. It occurred to me that feeling the disgust for them that I did I was in the WRONG place.

Wrong order on the jobs as I wasn't specific about it I WANTED you to do MORE garbage speculation. I was a bouncer first in the toughest nightclub I town. When I took the job we were averaging two fights a week in what the drunks called "the knife and gun club". When I quit 4 1/2 years later I had the average down to...two a YEAR. Memory problems still bothering you are they? I've already said I worked for the State of Illinois as a Security Officer guarding (by myself on my midnight to 0800 shift) over 600 residents, the nursing personnel on duty, a museum filled with exhibits (many of which were better weapons than the police carry) worth millions of dollars, a pharmacy and a cemetery kids loved to vandalize sitting on nearly 300 acres of grounds. Oh and BTW at that time you got drafted for TWO years, I served THREE dolt. My reasons for leaving (I DID consider staying in, especially as they offered me a promotion to do so)) were and remain my own business.

Second paragraph...and you accuse ME of "rambling"? As to your request, go look at what ELSE happened in Chicago over the weekend (as per the veteran and concealed carry permit holder who saved lives by returning fire on the thug who was firing at a crowd of which he was a part.

Funny, no comment at all on my speculation and observations regarding your confessed hypocrisy? Hmmm...

A security guard is a security guard... It's a guy that blows a whistle at kids or calls the cops when something serious happens. Your reason for enlisting is laughably unbelievable and you chose to not explain why someone with a vigilante fantasy like you didn't make a career in the military or become a police officer but rather chose to be a security officer in such dangerous places like a museum, some kind of facility thats needs nurses and a cemetery LOL! Also when you say that you guarded them by yourself it lets me know just how high risk these places were. They only needed one whole security guard.

Finally a news story about a citizen with a gun... I know what news story you are talking about and I have some comments about it... But can you give us a source for fuck's sake. I'm curious where you get your news and also it makes it easier for me and everyone else to follow along if you can source at least one thing you say. It's not hard. Just copy and paste the url of where you got your news story from. You had a 3.75 gpa, you should be able to figure it out.

As for my confessed hypocrisy, I am not sure what you are talking about. Care to make your thought intelligible?

Yet more dishonesty from the master of dishonesty. Who was it that assailed "MY" intellect previously when I told Xuani that this thread is and has been about politicians and gun control from the start and you ASSUMED that I was the one who didn't KNOW that? (The problem with lies is that it's tough to keep track of what you've said.) Now, while my life is none of your business nor anyone else's a few MORE FACTS seem to be needed to counter yet one MORE faulty assumption of yours that you are once again using in an attempt to discredit me. I wasn't drafted, I dropped out of college with a 3.75 GPA out of a possible 4.0 (EASILY good enough to have held the deferment that as an only child and thus "lone surviving son" I wouldn't have needed anyway and...ENLISTED in the Corps and volunteered for both duty in Vietnam and Recon. However, what OTHER ASSUMPTION could I reasonably expect from some rich bitch, elitist? "A FEW YEARS"? I was a state Security Officer for nearly 20 years, and didn't bother to mention being a bouncer in a CW nightclub for nearly 5 more. Hmm, 3+5+18= nearly half my life spent handling weapons and protecting others BY CHOICE. (Feel free to stow your "heroic fantasy" trash where the sun don't shine too. I don't NEED to fanaticize it's called "been there and done that.") Oh, and did I at any time say that my educational process stopped there? NO! Nor, do I intend to drag it out here as your friend saw fit to do.

I'm aware that there are NUMEROUS aspects to this thread. I have focused on ONE aspect just as others (Mazza for example) have FOCUSED on other aspects. But, realizing that would require more in the way of mental prowess than you are evidently capable of, inspite of your SELF PROCLAIMED mental superiority. But, that isn't the only way in which you perceive yourself to be "superior" is it Felix? Like your hero and fellow elitist Mike Bloomberg you too pay others to protect you (IF what you yourself have said can be believed.) Like his hilarious press conference with his armed body guards in the room (who have concealed carry permits for the AT LEAST four guns they were carrying) as he proclaimed that NO ONE NEEDS a gun to protect themselves! Oh, that's right, the other people on this thread are too poor and too inconsequential to DESERVE protection...unlike you and Mikie...right?

I do not KNOW but I strongly suspect that you INHERITED money, as I cannot imagine ANY company that would pay you well to BE as assumptive and as consistently WRONG as you've proven yourself to be...HERE! Oh and FYI for you and your Nursing profession buddy; I too AM elite. Elite Special Forces, well trained, extremely capable, trusted to properly utilize millions of dollars worth of equipment and give direction to the pilots flying some of it. I ONLY pull a gun when the situation CLEARLY dictates the NEED to do so and am deadly accurate on those occasions when it does. ANYONE can put bullets through paper. Hitting what you're aiming at when it's someone SHOOTING BACK is another matter entirely, just ask anyone else who's ever "been there!" You may now resume your hypocritical preaching.

Dropping out of college when you have a decent GPA to enlist as a grunt... I'm sorry but that story doesn't really add up.

After your short stint in the military - unlike someone that enlisted rather than getting drafted - you decided to not make a career out of it - was it your choice? who knows and I doubt you'll be honest about that - So then you became a heroic security officer... One of those guys that kinda looks like a cop but is not really a cop... Protecting rich people's assets 'n' such. Couldn't make it on the police force I suppose. Then after that you became a bouncer... "Wait, you can't come in yet" ... ten minutes later ... "Okay now you can come in, let me see your ID and your wrist so I can stamp it." The devolving progression is funny to me. What's your next career move? You gonna make change at an arcade? LOL

I have clearly posted about mental illness, rape culture and guns from the start, even adding things about the media..Not sure why you keep bringing up LadyX as I also reminded her to look at the title of the thread and that yes, the thread is about guns as well. I know you're trying hard to make it look like I insulted her but she knows that I know that she wanted me to stop talking about guns because gun nuts like yourself are easily infuriated stupid animals as some of the posters before you proved and you are currently proving now. She isn't offended because she knows that I know why she wanted to turn the topic away from guns. See, she knew that the other topics here would not be addressed by the gun nuts and that they would focus on the gun part and scream that people are trying to take their guns when no one is saying that. It is you and the other gun nuts that turned the focus of this thread to that by only addressing that aspect of it. You understand now? You are a unique one though since you also brought your misogyny to light. It's almost like you made yourself a display of what this thread is about. (not in a good way) Again, this is why your intelligence is brought into question by myself and many posters in this thread.

Remember when I asked you to produce a story where a citizen with a gun prevented a mass shooting and you brought a story up where a citizen got himself killed and put other citizens in danger because he had a gun? That is still making me laugh... You are still welcomed to find one story to back up your claims that more citizens with guns creates less killing... Last story I can remember of a citizen doing anything with their gun is George Zimmerman.

In other news...

And YOU know WHAT about me? Nothing more than Felix. Thank you. "Without any kind of proof". Which proves my point. Next, I personally could care less about your educational level or his, nor am I impressed by your competitive shooting records. When you two "theorists" are through telling me everything you BELIEVE you know about me THEN you can tell me how often your targets were shooting BACK! USMC 1969-1972, Vietnam 1970-1971 Combat Action Ribbon, Grunt, Recon and Prisoner Escort/Brig Guard; Many years as a Security Officer for the State of Illinois and repeated training with regard to the legal use of both force and deadly force. I am fed up with his arrogant garbage and you can feel free to take a hike with him!

How's that working out for you? Having a few years of your life define who you are. In those times, anyone could be drafted to do what you did. Anyone. Not anyone could be intelligence though, or air force etc. Also, being in the vietnam war for a year isn't a get out of jail free card to be a misogynist shithead boob. Being a grunt isn't more important than people keeping our economy going, it's probably less important. It also has nothing to do with this thread.

The reason why your low level intelligence and lack of education are brought into question is because you don't even understand what this thread is about. You don't even know what my stance is... You are the type of person that hears, "maybe we should take gun control a little more seriously" and you hear "the liberal hippies want to come take my dick away from me". You're boring, predictable, stupid and dangerous. People who think like you are dangerous. Black and white thinkers like you prevent the advancement of this country.

I suppose you would lump me in with Felix, except for the minor fact that I am a gun owner and avid competitor.

Actually... I do own guns. They are not a hobby, I do not carry them around, I do not talk about them. I will probably get rid of them if someone moves in with me again or if I have a child in the future. More chance of those guns leading to something tragic in the home than any kind of self defense or some heroic fantasy. Especially since I live somewhere very safe and very hard to break into.

YOU WHAT?!

I said I know what type of person you are.

Topic How many sexual partners does it make a girl a slut..?
Posted 07 Jul 2014 17:57

It's pretty simple actually. You learn the equation in high school.

Girls age ÷ 2 - sex partners = a negative or positive number.

If the number is negative she's a slut.

So, if the woman is 30 and she's had 10 partners you'd do this.

30 ÷ 2 = 15 - 10 = 5 = Not a slut.

If the woman is 30 and she's had 21 partners you'd do this.

30 ÷ 2 = 15 - 21 = -6 = She's a pretty big slut, bruh.

There is an exception to be made for threesomes/gangbangs though. Like if the 30 year old woman that had 10 partners had 6 of those at the same time you must multiply that number by two before plugging it into the equation. So it would go like this.

30 ÷ 2 = 15 (6 x 2 = 12 + 4 = 16) - 16 = -1 = She's a slut unless she keeps her legs closed for a while.

Of course the fact that we find ourselves dealing with liars like Felix

I guess CNN is lying as well...

Still, you haven't produced a story where a legal gun carrier prevented a mass shooting. (you only provided one story where a legal gun carrier got himself killed and endangered others)

For the record, unlike some of the other posters, I never took you seriously. I know what type of person you are.

Yep, it must be scary to think of them, all those little ghosties that are the RESULT of that failed, idiocy. No wonder you fight so desperately rather than admit to the obvious truth; that's going to be a LOT of guilt to deal with if and when you allow yourself to see the truth. So you just continue with the smug, pseudo intellectual arrogance; the dishonest tactics; the phony and padded stats and the name calling; just whatever it takes NOT to admit the COST of this failed stupidity. Blame honest, honorable people instead; it's easier and requires MUCH LESS courage (and let's face it, courage has NEVER been your strong suit.) Besides, such an admission would also mean conceding another "unthinkable", that we "less intelligent types" were right and you, Jethro , he of the enormous brain; was WRONG! I DO LOVE playing chess for money with guys like you; it's easier money than beating the frat boys on the pool table. As your arguments have no more merit than you have credibility (and you've proven you have NONE) you've become BORING with your childishness. Good luck with ignoring the truth, I simply HOPE that most others are MUCH LESS self deceptive than you are and prefer truth over emotional sensationalism; even if it isn't pleasant. (Yes, I'm leaving YOUR thread, or should I say propaganda tirade.)

Wait, wait, wait...hold the phone... I'm the Jethro in this argument!?

...

By the way, earlier when I asked you to present a news story (news stories aren't statistics) about a citizen with a gun stopping a gunman going on a rampage, the only thing you came up with was a citizen that was gunned down by the Joker/Harley Quinn cop killers in Las Vegas. I mean you came up with a story where the citizen gun carrier died because they had a gun on them... They failed to stop the killers and in turn got themselves killed. If they didn't have the gun they would be alive... The gunmen even told people to leave because they were waiting for the cops then the guy pulled his gun out and the gunmen killed him. Luckily that citizen carrier didn't get others fleeing killed as well by making the joker/harley quinn killers open fire earlier than they intended.

I mean you came up with the opposite of something that would support your claims. That's just, I don't know man, pretty stupid.

The little ghostie's starting to bother you are they? Is THAT why you're so desperate? Is THAT why you're willing to stoop to ANY level and use every BS tactic known to man? Afraid of all those little ghostie's? Can't say that I blame you...in your shoes I would be too.

As my enjoyment of the site has decreased greatly due to a few individuals; I've spent less time here recently SO; time for another "RANT" ...as I have several posters to respond to:

http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/3002/dlz8jrxnaur3.jpg

Ajax- Anyone can make ANY claim at any time. I COULD claim to be Sprite's BF ( I'm not her BF NOR am I making the claim, just a point). If she were asked directly ABOUT that claim and did not answer it, and THEN proceeded to spend every waking moment from the time she got up in the morning until she went to bed at night in CONSTANT private communication with you for weeks...would YOU believe MY claim? DUUUHHH!!!

Dani- First make note of the little stats chart that Felix posted. See the heading "gun related"? The pop tart gun and the picture of a gun on a tee shirt and a LOT of other nonsensical CRAP that did NOT actually involve a gun fall into this "category" and are included IN these "stats" as Felix well KNOWS! This entire chart is Mike Bloomberg at his "finest". Inflated GARBAGE, and these are the "factual stats" Felix CLAIMS to be posting. Felix ALSO KNOWS (as do I) that the "no gun zone policy" is ZERO TOLERANCE so the pop tart gun and the pic of a gun got those kids expelled; not some "last straw" BS. Did EITHER save any lives? Was either DANGEROUS, as both Bloomberg and Felix would have you believe? NO! The entire "no gun zone policy" has been WORSE than an abject failure as it has not only FAILED to save ANY lives it has also INVITED shooters who KNOW that there will be NO possibility of ANY armed resistance that could interfere with their shooting spree. My point being that pop tart guns are the ONLY THING it "prevents"! Fact, crime rates DO increase in areas with restrictive gun laws and DROP in places that EASE those restrictions (Chicago is a case in point).

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5yrq_bzKeeo/UO2kq1wQD7I/AAAAAAAAeCQ/UJ6tuWzqazA/s1600/Falling+Down+Foster+holding+a+limp+burger.png

Do I WANT every dumbass and their dog to be allowed to carry a firearm? NOT NO, BUT HELL NO! I DO NOT want convicts, or those with dangerous mental problems (LIKE Adam Lanza) to be able to TOUCH a firearm without going to prison for it! NOR do I want ANY fool who hasn't had the proper training to be allowed to carry one. The requirements are set forth in EVERY concealed carry law on the books and include: knowledge of the LAW concerning the LEGAL use of BOTH force and deadly force (I've had that training three times in my life), proper threat identification, firearm SAFETY (both in handling the gun AND firing it! More training I've had repeatedly) AND, marksmanship training (I DO NOT want idiots "spraying" rounds in the DIRECTION of a criminal I want them to able to HIT what they aim at!)

http://influencesonly.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/falling-down.jpg

Is "return fire" the solution to mass shootings? NO, BUT the POSSIBILTY DOES serve as a deterrent. The TOTAL ABSCENCE of such a possibility serves as? AN OPEN INVITATION! In short, the "gun free zone" idiocy NEEDS TO BE ENDED! Lastly, crime rates decrease when criminals are NOT ASSURED BY LAW that NO ONE else WILL have a gun. They are COWARDS who pick on what they believe to be the weak, helpless and DEFENSELESS (with the exception of the occasional utter moron like the two cop shooters in Vegas) When the LAW assures them that EVERYONE is defenseless there is NO deterrent factor in play and THAT is when violent crime rates RADICALLY increase (as has been PROVEN in BOTH Chicago and Australia). The other thing I DO NOT WANT is for Mikie Bloomerbug and Felix to turn the entire NATION into a "gun free zone" (which IS their intent!) To lump, properly trained, LAW ABIDING citizens who chose to carry a firearm for their protection and the protection of their family into the same "class" as criminals is no different than saying EVERY female is a whore.

http://snarkysmachine.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/falling-down-michael-douglas.jpg

Felix- Are ya just kidding me? Even YOU can't be THAT stupid! How the Hell am I supposed to quote stats that CANNOT exist due to the FACT that the moronic law you've championed has rendered any such occurrence an utter impossibility?! Moreover, you REALLY NEED stats to PROVE that some people ARE willing to put their own lives at risk for others? SERIOUSLY? Hell, the teachers at Sandy Hook did so and committed suicide in the process (as did the concealed carry guy who was killed in the Vegas Walmart trying to stop the cop killers!)

Ladies, if you have children make note of his remarks and DO NOT let HIM anywhere near your kids! IF he considers a kid chewing a pop tart into the shape of a gun as "a last straw" ...

http://opiniaosemfronteiras.files.wordpress.com/2014/02/home1.png

You want STATS? Here ya go, according to the CDC (which reports on all manner of things and as far as I know has NO "dog in this fight" one way or the other...
From 2010-2011 we ranked third in the world in murder rate out of 216 nations. There were OVER 11,000 murders ...of those ONLY 2,200 were NOT gang related shootings... in a nation of over 300 million people. That same year? 45,000 died in automobile accidents (hmm, those cars and trucks are more deadly than fire arms! Time to look into the liscencing requirements? Or maybe consider a BAN on those man killers? SARCASM folks!) Another factoid or two from that same report, IF you subtract the killings in: CHICAGO; WASHINGTON, DC; Detroit and New Orleans (ALL of which have HIGH levels of gang activity) We end up WHERE on that SAME list? #214! AND, two of them (Chicago and DC) had? The MOST restrictive gun laws in the nation! So much for the SO CALLED "effectiveness" of gun bans.

http://agoramesmo.files.wordpress.com/2013/10/furia.jpg

I hope you ALL (even you Felix) had a nice 4th of July as we US citizens celebrated our FREEDOM, the LIBERTIES it is SUPPOSED TO guarantee us, AND the sacrifices that have been made over the course of our history to PROVIDE it!

You're a...crazy person.

And your source is? Oh let me guess, Mikie Bloomerbug's NOTORIOUS stats padding liars. Of course, coming from someone who wouldn't recognize truth or honesty if they jumped four feet in the air and drop kicked him across the room... While you may not have anything more to do than research stats or run to Bloomerbug for more of them, I DO. Stats can and often DO lie! Which is WHY liars tend to make profuse use of padded and often phony stats. So tell me, did those "gun related" incidents include the gang bangers? AND, the kid with the chewed pop tart?

News stories aren't stats... how dumb are you... I am asking you to back up your claims that law abiding citizens with guns prevent school and mass shootings. Surely these instances would make the news. Why can't you provide any?

And even if gangbangers shoot people too... Are you saying that those shootings don't count? You can provide a news story where a vigilante fantasy having nutcase like yourself took down a gangbanger before the gangbanger shot someone at school too if you wish.

By the way, one kid who was sent home after chewing a pop tart into a gun isn't more tragic than dead children. Plus, since you don't provide any source for this incident then we don't know any background. We don't know if that was the straw that broke the camel's back that got him in trouble or anything.

Congratulations, we ARE in agreement (it's called emphasis and I don't personally give a damn who likes my style and who doesn't). As to the kids at Sandy Hook, remember to THANK the anti gun crowd for insuring the shooter maximum time to wreak maximum carnage and making ANY possibility of a RESPONSIBLE and law abiding citizen coming to their defense an utter impossibility.

Still waiting for you to link us to all the stories of gun carrying citizens taking down mad gunmen in non gun free zones.

There have been over 70 gun related incidents where a gun is fired (including mass shootings) in schools since Sandy Hook. Were all these in gun free zones? How many of these gun men were stopped by a "RESPONSIBLE and law abiding citizen" and their gun?

The USE of the term "RAPE CULTURE" in this topic/header has ACTUALLY AND IN FACT made me throw up.

x SF

Why is that? Do you feel it is not relevant to this case or do you believe it does not exist or what?

Rape culture is a concept that links rape and sexual violence to the culture of a society, and in which prevalent attitudes and practices normalize, excuse, tolerate, and even condone rape.

Examples of behaviors commonly associated with rape culture include victim blaming, sexual objectification, trivializing rape, denial of widespread rape, or refusing to acknowledge the harm of certain forms of sexual violence that do not conform to certain stereotypes of stranger or violent rape. Rape culture has been used to model behavior within social groups, including prison rape and conflict areas where war rape is used as psychological warfare. Entire countries have also been alleged to be rape cultures.

Although the concept of rape culture is used in feminist academia, there is disagreement over what defines a rape culture and to what degree a given society meets the criteria to be considered a rape culture.

Rape culture has been observed to correlate with other social factors and behaviors. Research identifies correlation between rape myths, victim blaming and trivialization of rape with increased incidence of racism, homophobia, ageism, classism, religious intolerance, and other forms of discrimination.

Sprite- Rant? The fact that you never saw the news stories about those children being expelled from school for those "infractions" of the "gun free zone policy" doesn't make my comments rants. EACH of those idiotic things WERE done by school officials! Including the kid who WAS expelled for doing something as "dangerous" as chewing his pop tart into the shape of a gun! That is NOT a joke although it SHOULD BE! At no point did I say you SHOULD do anything, what you CHOSE to do is up to you. FOR NOW! However, the FUTURE is another matter and people like Mike Bloomberg, Felix and Elicia are determined to turn "Everytown" into another Chicago with sky high violent crime rates due to the simple fact that there will be NO deterent factor. Those from Australia (where this idiocy HAS been tried) have also ATTEMPTED to tell you the same thing. BUT, feel free to listen to the nonsense that arrogant wonder preaches...at your own risk. Better enforcement of the currently extent gun laws would have prevented MOST of what has been discussed here... even Mark Glaze the former President of one of Bloomberg's anti gun campaigns who recently resigned BECAUSE he saw that what they want is WRONG has said as much. Lastly, even Felix is bright enough to be able to stuff a rag into a bottle filled with gasoline. And, being mentally unbalanced is NOT the same thing as being too stupid to follow the directions they can locate on the internet for building any sort of bomb OR a flame thrower if they so desire. It's all there to be found.

Felix, listen closely sweetpea, you drag utter BS into this and then CLAIM that I'm "fixated upon it". Not ONCE have you argued ANY point honestly and your motives seem to be massive insecurity coupled with CLEARLY mistaken thinking. Still, you cling to your presumption of intellectual superiority. One of us needs to get a grip, but it's YOU, not me. How does it feel to KNOW that I have two little dogs in this house and that either of them is both brighter and braver than you have ever been? Either learns from painful experience, you DON'T! Either, while they would run first, if cornered would fight to the death for those they hold dear. You've already told us you REFUSE to do so. As to your "theory" garbage, I asked you a question dimwit; THAT does NOT constitute theorizing, I was merely hopeful that you at least had a better motive than what appears to be the case. Although given the track record you AND Bloomberg's campaign have, any expectation of an honest answer from you WAS a mistake on my part. Lastly , good catch; you FINALLY got the point. "Gun free" is moronic as the ONLY people who will obey the laws are...law abiding citizens... who then become sitting ducks for the butchers... DUUUHHH!!! Do you own a fire extinguisher? A first aid kit? An automobile insurance policy? A home owners insurance policy? A health insurance policy? Oh my, what fearful and dangerous thinking... by the same standard you apply. Gun owners don't buy weapons hoping TO shoot anyone, we HOPE we NEVER need to, just as we HOPE we never NEED any of those other things. It's called prudence, look it up some time.

Tell that last part to Xuani SHE was the one who ASKED! (THIS is what he thinks of YOUR intellect apparently. As to my education, it's none of your business you arrogant, egomaniacal twerp.

As for being "a disgrace to the male gender" you're a fine one to talk; turn YOURS in MISSY they are wasted on you. I WAS going to be nice about this, BUT as you've once again CHOSEN the low road; my remarks concerned YOUR unending insults, and clearly you're too stupid to make the connection. (Well, MAYBE you WERE right after all! LOL You DO seem to qualify!)

Now PLEASE tell us you're on the payroll of Mikie Bloomerbug's $50 Million dollar anti gun campaign, because as little as I think of you; even I don't REALLY want to think you've been THIS utterly despicable for nothing more than the hope of a little cyber assist with a few jerk jobs. As deplorable a sample of humanity as you are I REALLY don't want to think you are actually THAT pathetic!

Now you self anointed genius; as I said before; even an animal is bright enough to learn from it's mistakes but arrogant know it all's like you aren't that intelligent. SO, the next time there is a mass shooting in a "gun free zone" that this FOOL equates with a CRIME free zone, remember to thank him for helping to provide the butchers with plenty of time. Remember that HE insists that LAW ABIDING citizens MUST be helpless, defenseless targets because he hasn't yet figured out that CRIMINALS DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE LAW! Oh, but look at all the GOOD it's doing, because after all, children have been expelled for doing such dangerous things as :chewing a pop tart into the SHAPE OF A GUN! OMG! Or, Wearing a shirt with a PICTURE of A GUN on it! OMG! Or, stating that they had a CAP GUN AT HOME that looked exactly like the PICTURE of a gun in the Wild West magazine another kid brought with him! OMG! Such utterly heinous behavior.

NOW, go educate yourself as to THE FACTS, because YES, the crime rate did drop by those numbers in Chicago BEFORE the first concealed carry permit was even issued!

Because it's resulting in dead fellow citizens and the BS is being spread here. Oh and Sprite so do gas and diesel fuel bombs; but hey why listen to reason when it's so much easier to be flippant and refuse to learn from the slaughter and instead just sit back and watch the bodies mount while you HOPE you're not one of them? And, oh my yes, those deadly pop tart guns MUST go...

Look, I usually refrain from answering such stupidity. But because I strongly believe that young people read these threads and this website as I once did myself when I was young I will answer you in hopes that maybe just one young person can see how dangerous and stupid it is to think like you do.

You give gunmen maniacs credit enough to be intelligent enough to create bombs. The two guys at columbine tried to create bombs but they didn't work. Their guns did though. The boston bombers and tim mcveigh were the only ones who could be considered domestic bombers that I can think off. Both were military trained. Just because bombs can be created doesn't mean they will be by morons with guns. You gun nuts like to scream about how maniacs and terrorists will find a way to kill... But the fact is that guns are still the weapon of choice in this country. Why? because it is the easiest weapon to use and then ultimately kill yourself with. If these gunman were smart enough to make bombs then they probably would, but they aren't because that information is not easily available. It's not easily available here but guns are. If that information was as available as guns are then there would be more bombings. Its that simple.

You talk about gun free zones and the two mass killings there... For starters, obviously those zones weren't as gun free since the gunman were armed to the teeth, right? And two, what about the dozens and dozens of other killing sprees that didn't happen in gun free zones, genius? Now this is a serious question. Can you produce sources on news stories about armed citizens preventing public shootings with their lawfully acquired guns in these non gun free zones? I imagine that would be newsworthy. Of course I know you won't come up with anything.. I asked you to produce some background and sources for your other claims but you have none. The good thing is that you look stupid, misogynist and generally crazy and I feel that young people who happen to read this will see that and in future generations people like you will be weeded out and hopefully go extinct.

I won't comment on your tin hat conspiracy theories on me being on bloombergs payroll? What...

You talk about facts but you don't give any. Get a life, stop mixing your internet "love/heartbreak" with this thread (so weird) stop listening to radio and TV that panders to morons, stop fixating on me getting some kind of internet special treatment... You need to seriously just stop and take a breath. You sound very disturbed.

Topic Elliot Rodger kills 6, injures 13 others. Is it rape culture, guns or something else?

Partially right, he SHOULDN'T have had ANY guns...AND IF the laws HAD BEEN ENFORCED...HE WOULDN'T HAVE! Which is WHY I've been screaming that we need MORE enforcement NOT more laws. Oh, and interestingly enough, Mark Glaze; who recently resigned as the head of on of Mikie Bloomerbug's anti gun organizations...SAID THE EXACT SAME THING! He ALSO SAID that they (the anti gun lobby) have NO answers for situations like Sandy Hook!

Interesting FACT, Chicago with it's anti gun laws, has had the highest crime rate in the nation. When it's gun stores were allowed (by the Supreme Court) to reopen their doors...IT DROPPED by 18% When that SAME Supreme Court FORCED the state of Illinois to allow concealed carry... it dropped by ANOTHER 26%

Xuani this thread has BEEN about gun laws from the start. Hence it has also been about politicians and legislation.

Felix, while I'm sure that Albert Moultin, the Sheriff of York, Maine in 1972 who wrote the letter of commendation he sent to my CO at Portsmouth USNDC AND the little old lady whose life my actions that day probably saved, at the risk of my own, would agree that there IS a "vomit bag" posting on this thread; I'm equally sure it wouldn't be ME they would point to! (The junked up, drunked up two legged animal I took on was roughly twice my size and attacking her in her car. I had NO way of knowing whether or not he was armed.)

Margot, you and Elicia keep cheering on the internet hero and shit hurling rabble rouser as it's ME he's throwing the shit at, IF you are (and seem to be) THAT small, I'm sorry you were ever on MY FL in the first place.

It's amazing to me though, how this site operates. Somehow I DOUBT that ANYONE would be allowed to call ANY female on this site a lowlife, two bit, disease laden skank, yet when the internet hero hurls one insult after another at me in the course of this shit hurling fest CALLED "a discussion" ...it's ignored. But, why do I think that everyone of you HOPES that should you ever NEED ONE, there WILL BE some "crazy, dangerous, vomit bag" like yours truly on hand to come to your rescue? Oh and a dating hint, internet heros don't just "shudder to think" they shudder at a great deal; including the terrifying specter of their own shadow! So, IF you date one... wear track shoes! The only way you'll get any help from HIM with any thugs is IF you can OUT RUN HIM!

The idiotic notion that a "no gun zone" equates to a no crime zone has already been disproven at places like Columbine and Sandy Hook, yet Felix has the audacity to speak of "those of lesser intellectual capacity". Even ANIMALS have the intellectual capacity to learn from their mistakes. One small nugget of truth about me has been told here. I AM 64 years old. Much older, and in some ways wiser than the impetuous young combat Marine freshly back from a combat zone and still filled with the feelings of invulernability and immortality that are a nessicity for a combat trooper. So, IF you let the likes of Felix, Elicia and Mike Bloomerbug talk you into removing my "equalizer" from my hands and further increase the odds that ANY attempt to come to your rescue should you need it will merely be a pointless suicide mission that will only add my name to the death toll, don't be surprised IF I'm unwilling to do so! Protecting the defenseless has been who I am for many long years but ...

Lastly, as to the individual chomping at the bit to prove their hypocrisy by posting some emails... YES, I made the mistake of falling in love with someone on the internet and it turned out to be the WRONG person. Shame on me (Sound like the gal who let some guy take naked pics? hmmm) I don't know or care what "the mods have read". I am SURE that NONE of them did what I wouldn't do either and that is to read ALL of the literally THOUSANDS of BB's that went back and forth over the course of nearly two and a half months of 16-20 hour days spent in nonstop private conversations. But, they don't need to. Just read the very last one she sent to me, it tells you EXACTLY what this BS has all been about. So, Xuani, THAT is my one condition. As long as the FIRST thing she posts IS that last BB she sent me, she can then post ALL of the hand picked emails she pleases! BUT, I want this site to SEE THE REAL person not the fascade.

You may now resume your shit hurling under the capable guidance of your rabble rouser, I'll go back to playing golf. Best of luck to one and all...in the world THEY want us to live in...you're going to NEED ALL the luck you can get!

Ideas are bulletproof, dumbass.

It's obvious intellectual superiority makes you and others of your ilk make you tighten your grip on your guns because, like you say, it's your equalizer. Unfortunatly for you, ideas and intelligence is what makes our society evolve. Not your fear.

As for what you said about your feelings about women getting preferential treatment on this site, you couldn't be more wrong and just further brings to light your obvious mysogonistic tendencies. Again you state that its women's fault for making themselves victims rather than the fact that men shouldn't create victims out of them. You're a disgrace to the male gender.

Your interesting facts on crime rates have no sources or background. Obviously when you start with one of the highest crime rates in the country no law will change the rate either way in such a short time. Your nearsighted uneducated nature is a huge problem in this country because there are many of you. Fortunately, the times they are a changin'.

As far as your claim that this thread was about guns, well yes, it was. It's clearly stated in the thread topic. What's next, newton? You gonna let us all how the sky is blue too?

Just picking up the thought. I'm not sure if fractional scores between four and five would work and how those could be implemented so they are intuitive to use for readers.

What I've got in mind would be a more detailed scoring system with individual scores for different aspects of the story. Just making up an example from the top of my head:

1. Character development

1 - Huh, there were characters?
2 - Yeah, there were characters, I remember now.
3 - Interesting characters! I even remember all their names!
4 - Your characters were lovely distinctive, gimme more of that!
5 - Wow, I felt as if I was your characters' heads!

2. Plot

1 - What plot?
2 - Something happened, but nothing important.
3 - Cool, this story had an interesting plot!
4 - This wasn't just plot, this was storytelling. Very good!
5 - Outstanding! Kept me guessing what would happen from the first second right until the end!

3. Writing level

1 - It was okay to read
2 - There was a certain flow in the story, at least mostly
3 - This story flowed well and was fun to read
4 - Well-written and imaginative language
5 - Brilliant! This story wasn't just written, it was painted with language!

4. Dialogue

1 - A bit plain
2 - I could see that you tried to make the dialogue work
3 - Your dialogue worked well for your situations
4 - Loved the dialogue, each character even had a distinctive voice!
5 - Absolutely brilliant! Witty, imaginative and absolutely believable!

5. Suspense

1 - Sorry, there wasn't much to look forward to
2 - I almost fell for the hints, but they were a bit obvious
3 - Yep, you kept me guessing!
4 - I couldn't sit still for even a moment! Well done!
5 - I kept biting my lip and chewing my nails. God, I almost died from suspense!

6. Eroticism

1 - The sexy parts need shaping out.
2 - There were some sexy moments.
3 - This one was sexy and had moments I loved!
4 - Wow, absolutely hot!
5 - Sizzling! I've got blisters on my skin!

If all of these were weighted equally, we as authors would perhaps get more detailed feedback about which parts could be improved and which work well while the combined scores we get through these would be better balanced. If readers could filter for certain aspects that are important to them, they could get some value as well.

Finally, what's not included in the scoring above is the explicitness level. This might also be an interesting information for readers - it might also be something the author sets when submitting the story. I do know that some of my regular readers are a bit out of their comfort zone when I submit heavier stuff.

How explicit would you rate the language of the story?
Tame ..... Romantic ..... Sexy ..... Dirty ..... No holds barred

I'm quite aware that my suggestion couldn't replace the existing scoring system and mixing scores between both would be rather pointless, so it would need a separate display and a catchy name to take off.

All this would do is have people that tend to ask for votes from their friends and vote-trade with other authors to recieve six votes of 5 rather than one vote of 5.

Totally agree

Though I must add that what Master Jonathan said was very informative. To master anything in life, a person should do research, apply what they learned from it and practice the skill(s). The simplest thing to have done was just ask what he meant by "study." But I guess that would have been too easy for MF.

I did ask... I very clearly asked where he studied for years to be a master. He could have elaborated or set me straight.

I know you don't have any answers either Banes1.

Still curious as to where it is all this master studying happens.

Oh and how was regurgitated master nonsense that really says nothing, informative? I'm asking seriously. Tell me exactly which parts are informative. I see what is posted but I don't see any substance realistically relating to anything.

I understand that these are legitimate concerns. Perhaps they would be better addressed in another thread entirely. Feel free to start another thread with this as a topic.

I look forward to the replies.

Let's keep things on topic going forward.

Did you read the OP's topic starter? He mentions he's a Dom with some confusion about the treatment and motivation of people who act submissive for him. "Master" Jonathan came in to say very little with many words and he said he studied for years (lol) to be a master. Obviously a "master" would know what was up with the submissive so that would indicate the OP isn't one nor does the OP claim to be one. I would imagine "master" Jonathan hasn't forgotten where he did all his studying on the subject and I would also imagine that that information would be useful to the OP.

The OP pretty much needs information on how to be a better master. I asked "master" Jonathan to share some information.

Not sure how exactly my inquiry is off topic.

Of course I know that the master's knowledge tends shrink when me or anyone asks for any kind of explanation so there is a mocking tone to my post. But I was right, they never respond, they never answer anything.

Can anyone tell me where someone goes to study - for years - to be a master? Seriously, where and what does someone study for that long to officially call themselves a master?
