so go to vegan restaurants with her - think she enjoys being a pain in the ass just cause you want your triple bacon burger fix? ;)

We were at salad place! She's so out of control! She paid 11 bucks for like three ounces of steamed broccoli with like a lemon slice on it :(

At the end of the day you can lead a horse to water, but sometimes that horse wants a gallon of cream soda - not water. happy8

What is sad is, the first lady, Ms. Obama, has been criticized for her stance on getting kids to eat healthy and get enough exercise over her. in America, we ridicule people for trying to create a healthy culture. i am tease for being a vegetarian on a regular basis. unless i go into a restaurant that caters to vegetarians, my choices are rather limited. in fact, sometimes it's hard to even find a salad that doesn't have meat in it, and i get tired of having to order special - "yeah, can i have the mandarin salad WITHOUT chicken?" - "Well, yeah, but it'll be an extra dollar for a menu change and we'll have to have Tom hand pick all the chicken out of our pre-made salad mixes. Don't worry, I'll ask him to wash his hands first and not spit in your salad."

and sadly, you can eat cheaper if you eat unhealthy - people out of work or who are poor, traditionally have more weight issues AND have a harder time affording health care and there's more and more of them out there these days. it's a growing epidemic.

Oh my God.. My vegan friend is a PAIN IN THE ASS at restaurants... A huge pain! I can feel the chefs disdain in my food when I have lunch with her. :)

I know obese people. But a tax break would be available for everyone. The people who are borderline. Regular people who have become less active as they get older and have kids. Offer them some money and it may push them to the gym.

You could regulate things like too much tv. Monitor a person's watch time, throttle it like cell companines.

Maybe next we should ban the sale of 40oz beer. Unless it's Lite beer.

But all the people you just described like borderline people or anyone that goes to the gym aren't the ones we are getting second hand fat from. It's the borderline slow adults that think Doritos, nacho cheese and purple drink is called lunch. Those are the ones who sloth around for years until needing a triple bypass. That fat bitch probably doesnt have stellar insurance cause they probably don't even go to a doctor on the regular.

I didn't understand the watch argument or the cell thing. EDIT: wait I do, more of the same.

And the 40 oz thing makes me think you don't understand proper debate so I won't touch on that anymore..

I understand why you are up in arms about this LM. But I think if it was an outright banning of soda I'd be more in your side. But this is just a reminder. I doubt this shit will even be seriously enforced. I think it's more to get people to think before they order. If not for their own health but for the people that care about them and have to take care of them when they get too fat to take care of themselves. It's not just themselves that really obese people affect.

I think the mayor needs to focus on more serious problems rather than trying to be the food and drink police. Yes, it would be healthier for people to practice portion control and eat healthier foods, but have we all forgotten about personal responsibility? The last thing we need now is intrusive laws which would place a burden on businesses.

Yes, yes most of us have forgotten personal responsibility. That's why this law exists. If people were responsible we wouldn't be discussing this now.

this was funny and i know you were being facetious but i say let em die from heart disease at 25 if they want. fingers crossed they havent bred yet and taught another generation how to kill themselves with bad personal choices.

Wishful thinking... Apples rarely fall far from the tree. Sometimes a sweet apple will grow on a sour apple tree but that sweet apple will move to California or something and shake their head at the sour apples yelling about their freedom to pork out big time.

Re: LM's last post.

LOL... Do you know any really obese people? You can't PAY them to go to the gym... A tax break.....bahahaha!

You can't regulate things like going outside... Don't be silly. You CAN regulate portion sizes and put no will power having people to the test.. Order two or three drinks.. If its your right and perfectly fine then their desire to drink themselves to death should override the embarrassment of getting soda for two for one.

The thing about slippery slopes like saying that one egg only is next or just turkey burgers hasn't happened yet.. It's not a point about anything. That's like saying weed shouldn't be legalized and taxed cause what's next!?!?!? Heroin, meth and crack in school lunches!?!?!?!?

No, you're not getting second hand fat. It has no long term affect on your life cycle or health. None.

Yea, obese people are sicker. Do you think that banning large sizes of liquid sugar will have any implications on that? Obesity in NY will not change one percent because of this. Those fat fuckers need to get a job and pay for their own health care.

I'm not vilifying anything. I'm vilifying Big Brother telling me what I can and can't drink in whatever quantity I choose. The debate technique of denying big brother's existence can be used to condone anything.

Denying big brothers existence isn't a debate technique... That's an argument... Slippery slopes are fallacies...

And yes it is second hand fat. Old people have been crushed by overweight people on planes. It's their weak bones you see... And you know what? It does affect me. You know how hard it is in some places to find something healthy to eat that doesnt take a 30 minute wait in line in my area? Mostly everything is shit. All fast food, anything from a convinence store, even delis. All that shit is bad for you. They just sell what people want. Not the food sellers fault. When most of society is fat and wanting extra bacon and cheese on everything then the logical thing is to cater to them. Obviously society cant chose on their own. Just look at the calories in a burger from chills. It's way out of control. It all is. Look at the size of a SMALL soda from Hardee's/carlsjr it's HUGE! As big as a large was 30 years ago. It's a joke.

I'll use a slippery slope too.. The more we cater to being unhealthy the more of a lifestyle it becomes. Instead of people losing weight so they can walk they will probably buy motorized carts...start getting new pig hearts put in them every few years, fuck it. Reminds me of the fat society in that movie wall-e. It was funny because it's so true. That's where we are heading. That future NOT 1984 and big brother.

I think smoking bans are unconstitutional too. But that's a bit different. Even though I disagree with the application, second hand smoke harms others. No one is going to get second hand fat from watching someone drink a soda.

Big brother is watching. What's the next logical step. Regulating size and portion control today, when that doesn't work... and it won't. Will the government then ban sugary drinks altogether? Tax it? Talk about a tax on the poor.

It isn't about sugary drinks, or smoking, or fatty foods. It's about government slowly putting the citizens back on the tit. It's about control. It has absolutely nothing to do with Michael Bloomberg giving a shit about your's or anyone elses health. It's more ground work for the next round of the nanny state.

DD... yes!! WE all suffer. Not because we can't buy a 2gallon bottle of soda. But because we cannot choose for ourselves.

So when some obese guy has half his leg on top of mine while ordering extra honey roasted peanuts and more soda on a 3 hour flight, I'm not getting second hand fat?

And also you glossed right over my point of all the obese taking up more tax money cause they are in the hospital more often. And yes, the poor with no money are more obese. Them taking up more money then needed IS affecting us. Just like second hand smoke affects. It's just not so obvious so it takes more thinking to see the forest through the trees.

Edit: the big brother argument is a slippery slope by the way. Usually a debate technique that can be used to vilify anything.

Also.. I think that two liters of coca-cola everyday would be more depremental to my health than doing a line of cocaine every day for a year. I have done drugs for extended periods and trust me. Gaining 50 lbs from that much sugar water would fuck me up more than the cocaine and cocaine is illegal. What about freedom?

Hey you guys do understand that America is a great country because we have laws like this? You know where people are totally free to do whatever the fuck they want? Mexico... You can do whatever in Mexico. The freedom lovers should move there. Or Liberia, those fools are more free than us too but guess what.. Society as a whole can't take care of itself. They need shepards.

I say good... Someone wants 32 oz of soda then buy two. I think laws like this are more psychological than anything. Like the fact that you are forced to order two of something will help people understand portion control a little better. Maybe instill a bit of shame in the person needing to order three drinks in a row or at least let them know that what they are doing to themselves is not normal.

This crying out about freedoms and big brother is just silly. Hey, any of you like to smoke? Kinda hard to find a restaurant to smoke in yeah? Soda and junk shit like that arguably does more harm to Americans health when you look at the big picture. But do you think these freedoms taken away from smokers stops them from smoking? It doesn't.

Fuck it. They should tax soda like cigarettes. And don't tell me that cigarettes harm innocents and soda and shit doesn't. How much money is spent on helping people that don't know how to drink water instead of mountain dew code red with 30% fucking sugar in it. It tastes like liquid candy. Shit should be dessert. That money can help treat non obese people too. If not so many people were so unhealthy than more money could go around.

I mean we put restriction on cigarettes because they harm adults but we don't limit kid's drug of choice? Sugar.

Look, if I sit down to eat and you put a 10 oz steak in front of me, I will eat it and be satisfied. Put a 14 oz steak in front of me and I'll kill it too. But in reality I didn't need the extra 4 oz. but if it's there I would eat it. Same thing with fat little Timmy and his 12 oz soda. Hell drink it and be fine. Give him 32 and he'll drink it too cause its there.

Topic Appropriate story title
Posted 30 May 2012 08:09

The best titles, I think, hint at what the story may be about but also makes the reader go "what the fuck?"

For example:

I Buy a New Dildo

My Best Friend's Dad Sneaks Me into the Dildo Shop

I'd rather read the second story. The first one is obvious... A girl will masturbate with a dong and cum.. Eh. The second one makes me want to find out how exactly the dad ends up taking his daughter's teen friend to go buy a dildo.. Then what happens? Did they get caught? Did he dong her up at the shop? Did the clerk watch? Did he get her a butt plug too? Etc..

The story can be the same but one title will make me click, the other won't.

Look man... I didn't read it. I'm going purely on the numbers.

My advice. Get an avatar and a background. Something sexy. Then write something different. Give it a catchy title. Novels are hard because not many on here will commit to one. If you had more of a following then maybe they will give it a go. Shit, since no one has read it really I would delete your novel. Post something else and if in a year you have some followers THEN post your novel. ALSO, I'd probably never commit to reading a novel with no ending either. You got three things working against you.

You're on no readers radar.

Novels are a tough sell.

You have no ending.

That's why you shouldn't let it discourage you. Even if you were an amazing writer these three things will be a hard hurdle to get over.

Topic What genre is easy?
Posted 30 May 2012 07:35

I think The easiest thing to write is a forgettable poem.

The hardest thing to write is a good poem.

I think the stories, no matter what category, will be hard to write. I think it has to do more with how ambitious you make your plot and characters. The more complex you make it, the more attention to detail you have to put. Motivations need to make sense. The ending needs to answer questions the reader might have. If you're gonna make your story longer than a couple thousand words, writing something that will be engaging until the end is very difficult.

If you are looking to write something easy then you need to skip the plot and write something like walking in on your girl in the shower and having sex. No need for a plot. You can establish who the girl in the shower is and who the man is in like two sentences then proceed to sex and the ending is a cum shot. Simple. BUT you then have to make the sex an almost ethereal experience to write something interesting, that can be hard. These stories can actually be the biggest turn on to readers because they can see themselves in the story instead of your characters. Having a short story also increases likelihood that it will be read until the end. That kind of writing gets annoying for the author quickly though, but for a first story or for someone starting out, a story like that is almost a given.

In the shower example I gave you.. That can be in a few genres. The genre doesn't really matter when it comes to difficulty. For me anyway.

Topic How the ladies dress...
Posted 30 May 2012 06:22

Usually I don't give bullshitty answers like I'm about to give but when it comes to the way a woman dresses I like seeing her in what she finds the most sexy, if sexy is the goal. If she is in what she feels the most sexy in then it will translate over in her body language and attitude that evening.

To answer the question though, I prefer cute. Shorts, tank top and her everday hair will always look sexier to me than some expensive gown, high heels and an elaborate hairdo like a high priced escort.

Topic Women and Farting?
Posted 30 May 2012 06:11

Well, that's something we don't speak of. Like, if there is a sound that may or may not have been a fart and a lull in the action happens I will not acknowledge a thing. She may sense a slight hesitation on my part after she may or may not have farted at which point she may even glance over her shoulder at me... That's when I just say. "fart? What fart? I didn't hear anything baby." Then the fucking continues.

No it's not a turn off if she toots her own horn during sex... I'm a fuck machine so it doesn't surprise me. BUT if it's like really bad... Like there is an intense smell then yeah that's a turn off... Or if she like keeps doing it. Like a rapid fire assault. Then that is hard to ignore. Or if it's a long one. If it starts all loud then continues for a while until it tapers off to a squeak, I will fucking laugh, sorry ladies.

It's really time someone stood up to your sorry punk ass, Felix. You think you can bully people on lush, but you are just a wanna be that uses your sorry ass mouth to overcome your little cock, you sorry piece of squat, Real men dont boast or brag, but are confident in the satifaction they can give to a womans wants and needs as opposed to treating them like objects of scorn. I held back for the longest time in issuing this, but you are a true ass that needs to be ignored for the worthless trivialiy & hate you spew in your desperation to be noticed and by the way, your little stories are fuckin lame, you tool.

This is the best.

And what was it that broke the camel's back may I ask?

And why the tall socks thread? That is what I find the most strange.... I hope you answer you weird little dude.
