Who in the fuck asked you? Don't like my opinions? Then USE 'EM FOR SUPPOSITORIES you sorry anally enchanted nimrod. Those women you speak of in WW II were doing NON COMBAT jobs to free up men to do the fighting. Your WEAK ATTEMPT at logic and reason is once again a FAIL! Now try for once to focus your tiny attention span on the ACTUAL OP rather than finding yet one more reason to be a pain in my ass. I don't CARE HOW MUCH you WANT IT you'll NEVER get it! SUFFER BITCH!

Do you think I care if you asked me or not? Assume that whenever you post your idiotic sexist opinions, that you are asking me because I will remind you how stupid you are every time. Every single time weavindreams.

Factory work was not traditionally something women did. What world are you living in? Because those women were given the chance to step up and step into roles that were not traditionally filled by women we were able to win the war. It was our industrialism that won that war because our tanks weren't as strong as the german tanks and our planes weren't as fast as the japanese ones. But unlike them we were able to keep producing ours. British intelligence, soldiers, and our industrialism won that war... And guess what? Two out of those three things the Axis didn't have.

On a side note... The assumption that I want your ass is a very gay thought you are having.. Just strange that your mind goes there.

Congratulations Lupus, Saucy and Milik.

Both Legion and Scarlet were a pleasure to read. Both effortlessly conveyed their time periods to the readers without overdoing the details, excellent writing. There was genuine emotion from the characters to go along with the sex as well. Amazing imagery and pacing. Very well done guys.

(NO, I'm NOT even slightly concerned with the feminist ergo PC train of thought on this. Mankind has developed as a species and certain traits have been predominantly distributed along gender lines. That fact among many others has contributed to not only our survival but our thriving as a species.)

Feminism is not some politically correct notion. Yeah, mankind has developed (evolved) as a species. Back in your times, men would bonk women over the head and claim them like property. As centuries went by we evolved out of that. In several hundred more years thinking like yours, might even be nonexistent. To choose an example your narrow minded military fellating brain might understand... WW2 historians credit american women for being one of the essential factors for us being on the winning side of that war. Those women were certainly not sticking to "traits that have been distributed along gender lines". The countries that treat their women the most equal to men are the countries that have the best quality of life in the world.

Step away from your computer and go put your head back up your filthy ass.

I'm still going with Frank Underwood. A democrat with balls (i.e. who isn't Hillary?) and a guy who will take bold action. Oh and he could win the Nobel Peace Prize for a genuine reason when he moves in troops and creates the two state solution. Yup it's Frank for me. What? Who said he's a fictional character? What are you talking about? I mean I saw him on TV just last night.

I wouldn't mind Claire in her tight power outfits running around the country either.

Another girl butting in here! Sorry! Couldn't his motives just be that he's a talker and strikes up a conversation with the first person he sees, even in the shower room, without a thought about sexual implications? I'm noticing a pattern here, where all the guys are territorial and defensive, while the girls see no suspicious intent. When I was in college, I lived in an older dorm that had open showers, and girls just line up next to each other and start talking! I'm not straight, but even straight girls did this without worrying about whether the girl next to her was bi or lesbian. The other thing I noticed, is how guys seem to be so averse to the prospect of being hit on by other guys. We girls have to deal with getting hit on all the time by people we have absolutely no interest in! We're used to it! If I'm on a lounge chair at the beach, and there are 50 other empty lounge chairs, half the time the first guy to come along is going to grab the chair next to me, and start flirting. More than half the time it'll be some ugly jerk I don't want bugging me, but until he gets obnoxious, I try to be nice anyway. Why are guys so afraid of the prospect of the guy next to him being gay? Get USED to being treated as a sexual object, so you know how WE feel!

Lol please... It's annoying when women do it too. You think men can't handle rejection? You should see how women act when they flirt with a guy who isn't in the mood or not attracted to them. Sorry but not every guy will fuck anything that moves. Women get defensive and call men gay more than other men do.

The reason I wouldn't shower in a public setting is of the gross factor. I think of all those germs and other people's grossness. Just ew. I'd rather shower, that's all.

Yeah well going to the gym and then getting into your car dripping with sweat everyday is gross... Your car would start to stink pretty quickly. A quality gym will have towel service and very clean showers. I'm not talking about 24 hour fitness or something like that.

Women think differently than men. Most of them aren't creeps like men are.

Men are aware of what fucking creeps we are so we don't like it when another dude decides to piss right next to us in an empty bathroom. We don't like it when there is an entire empty park and some dude decides he needs to sit on the same damn bench. We don't like it when a guy needs to stand right next to us and use the same pole to hold himself up in an empty subway car. And we especially don't like it when we are trying to wash our balls in peace and some guy decides to use the shower right next to us when it is totally not necessary. It's an aggressive act. If I wanted to start a fight with a guy I would do something like that actually. It's irritating.

Not really. I wouldn't be paying attention to anyone else in a public shower. Not that I'd ever shower in a public showering. I'd rather do it at home, but that is just me.

Sorry poppet but that doesn't make much sense. If you wouldn't pay much attention in a public shower then why the hang up about being in one. Big empty shower and a guy choosing to shower right next to you would definitely get your guard up. Wether gaying off is the intent or not (if you were a guy), it's a very strange thing to do and experience regardless.

I'm sure that was the last thing on his mind. He simply wanted to shower... like you wanted. The reason he showered near you? Who knows. Does it matter? Is it that big of a deal? No. Men all have the same items, gay, straight or bi. Even if he was on the off chance of being gay, it doesn't mean he wanted you. Just because someone is gay, doesn't mean they want all men. As a straight male, do you want EVERY woman? I'm going to assume no. That you, like a gay man, has tastes and what he finds attractive. I would try to calm down on worrying about silly things. It was just a shower.

If you were in a unisex shower room and there are 9 empty shower heads and some dude came in and decided to shower right next to you, you wouldn't think that was weird?

Just curious, what is the new "change/edit" status thing that is appearing at the bottom of submitted and approved pieces? I am personally not a fan of the whole world knowing what and when exactly I or a moderator made modifications to the piece. I'm sure there's a reason behind it, but it threw me off for a bit.

I can't see it on your stories so I imagine only you can on your own stories for your own information. I personally like knowing how many times I neurotically edited a story on the first day.

Heh, settle down big shooter before your taped up glasses get all scratched up against your shirt pocket digital calculator. You're a computer collector/investor as well as a redundant system storage maven.

Aren't you surprisingly super geeky. How much have you donated to Apple pensions over the years?

Blow s me out of the proverbial water -- all around.

What blows me out of the water is how you fall for this every single time... This isn't even the first time about this subject.

In essence, you're saying that your 2002 era iMac is still superlative and quite useful, yet you also have a newer, more expensive MacBook Pro which you use (probably 100% of the time, since it's so much more powerful)...It's prudent to keep a back up unit for when you're main rig shits the bed -- better to have and never need, than need and never have. Smart!

Sounds like you're a computer collector and an even bigger geek than me, or you just really have a thing for 13 year old....Apples of your eye.

I donate the old units after I upgrade. But, hey, whatever floats your boat.

First of all, you can't even quote properly. 6 fucking years you have been a member here and you still can't do it right.

My iMac can run programs new computers can't without a subscription. Photoshop being one of those. I also have the very first ipod ever released and I suppose I still have both because they are more collectors items now than tools. Something a PC will never be, by the way. Them being collectors items has nothing to do with your claim that there are no apples that can work for more than a decade without having to replace the parts though. How would you know anyway? Obviously, you can't afford one since you always mention their price when talking about apples.

And that sucks for the poor kid that gets your jizz and beer soaked donated dell... Probably why you have to replace the parts so often. lol

Does -or- will, the Mac you mentioned, last 10 to 11 years without a major component failure?

I have an iMac from 2002 that still works perfectly fine. My current MacBook pro is about 6 years old and will keep working past the time my desire to buy a new one comes.

I bet even you could replace any item inside of any pc and get it back to working status. You can't do that with a Macbook Pro.

Total geekdom not required to operate and maintain a desktop. Just a little self determination & curiosity. Or are you lacking all of that, too?

I don't know... Sounds like some pocket protector, tape on your glasses and ill-fitting Costco khakis type shit you're up to over there dude.

I've had 3 desktop computers since 1989. So that's 26 years. That's 3 CPUs & 3 motherboards. 4 power supplies, three cases, and I've had access to laptops owned by various companies I've worked for since 1998, and I've a 2008 HP entertainment laptop - I use now when I travel, it's about 10 times slower than my desktop, but that's to be expected. It's the emergency entertainment device, I'm often non-internet accessible when I am using it.

I built my last two personal computers with no assistance and my 1st pc, I was allowed to watch the guy I bought it from - build it. I basically drive them til they just quit working - or the CPU won't support the latest majority of software I wish to utilize.

All told, I've spent nearly $8000 usd on personal computing over 26 years. They've helped me earn multiples of that amount, too. I've gone through a dozen hard drives (and currently utilize 6 of them and two SSDs as boot drives in my laptop and desktop). Sure, I get viruses, everyone does. They don't freak me out. Windows & PCs are used by the vast majority of people the world over - hence they are the largest target of hackers. I fix the annoyances and carry on.

I've used every release of Windows operating software dating from Win95. Used MS-DOS before that was released.

I've played around with Linux & Unix, and frankly - that's the A ticket. My laptop sees maybe 2 or 3 weeks of use a year. Constant use of a laptop, with the heat they generate and the lack of air filtration they afford (plus how roughly they are usually handled) is what sends 99% of them to an early grave.

When I bought my first 25Mhz 386 clone, I knew nothing about the thing. So I broke it quickly and often, and fixed it myself. At least they can be diagnosed and worked upon with common, inexpensive tools and some easily found knowledge (google) when necessary. I've never paid another person to repair any computer equipment. Fck that noise.

Apple tried to mystify their product (it helped their marketing strategy to do so) as well as make them highly proprietary and closed-off and Steve Jobs convinced millions of people that they were too ignorant to learn about how a PC operates. Pay them their ransom and they'll give you what they tell you - you should have & need. They charge an arm & a leg for their units...then when those things need repair, they charge you your other arm and leg to fix it - or recommend you just buy a brand new one, know, be on the cutting edge again. evil4

I guess if you have money to burn, Apple is there for you.

So in order to own a PC that will last you as long as a Macbook Pro you have to be a total geek?

That's like having to be a mechanic to own a certain type of car and then claiming it's better because you know how to fix it every time it breaks down.

Perhaps you missed what I said earlier about BOTH major parties consisting of sold out vote whores. SELFLESS?!!!

Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design. Your friends, up there on your friend list, are walking into a trap, as is your Republican fleet. It was I who allowed the Alliance to know the location of the Lush forum. It is quite safe from your pitiful little band. An entire legion of my best lushies awaits them. Oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when the republicans arrive.

But it is of no concern to me. Soon the Republicans will be crushed and young weavindreams will be one of us. Your work here is finished, my friend. Go out to the command thread and await my orders. I'm looking forward to completing your training. In time you will call me master.
