Who to respect and why is a matter of choice. To only respect those, who, in your eyes, have deserved it, is your choice. It is my choice, to respect everyone, unless they have proven, they do not deserve it.

I respect yo momma.

Topic Leftists Harass Man Wearing "Build the Wall" Shirt
Posted 04 Dec 2016 09:52

Actual leftists either voted for Bernie Sanders or sat out the election - and we cherish Elizabeth Warren, while detesting all things related to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Probably 10 million votes didn't flow to the entitled Hillary centrist/globalist wing of the DNC in this past election. I haven't met one Sanders supporter who has admitted having voted for her and I know many.

Leftists = progressive/liberals.

Centrist = Globalist, blue dog / Reagan Democrats

Trumpets = mostly pissed off @ the Centrist/Globalists people who hate socialism without recognizing the many socialist programs in place in America already.

That looming dude in the video is described in another video as being a prime Hillary supporter. And we both know she and her husband absconded with many Republican planks and stances in the 1990s. They are more old school Republican than the Tea Party Republicans of today are.

But the woman does raise a good point... is the Trump t-shirt wearer in the clubhouse so he can get free-wifi internet, because he can't afford to have internet in his own apartment (where he could actually be in private and get some work done).

This almost smells like another produced shitstorm from one side or the other. Of course it's extremely uncivil, but that could well be the staged aspect of it.

I imagine you building a huge wall of empty beer cans, staring off into space for a while, then furiously going off on one of your political rants then instead of dropping the mic you knock over the wall of beer cans and scream "fuck you Trump!" lol

While the influence of teachers is undeniable I must with all respect interject: it is not a teacher's job to educate your children but to teach subject A or B - it's why they are called teachers. The responsibility of teaching both genders to be mindful, considerate and respectful of each other lays with the parents. Through the course of our educational life we stumble upon dozens of people, each with their own ideas, mentality and views but the constant presence in our lives are our parents, our family. Yes, a good teacher will influence a child, however, the notions of gender equality, respect and a zero-tolerance policy towards things that in any way border on bullying, harassment and gender intimidation are and should be things that are learned and taught home.
I was brought up in a household of strong men and women and taught from an early age to stand up for myself and take no bull-shit no matter who dished it out. However, several of my teachers had other ideas, as an example a sociology professor no less who, in a class of mainly women, declared unabashedly the reason the family unit in falling apart is because of women who refuse to stay in their place - implying the kitchen, obedient at the whim of a man.
Should I have listened to that and changed my world view? Should all my classmates have taken their girlfriends and tied them to the kitchen stove?
I don't think so. And we didn't. I was pleasantly surprised to see my male colleagues voice their disapproval just like I did.
And one might say we were all grown and it's not the same but believe me when I say it can be equally intimidating and hurtful when you're only 19 years old and that man represents a figure of authority. But it doesn't mean he should mould my view of the world: that was my family's job.
Returning to Sprite's original post, I do find there is however a great lack of awareness as to what is indeed offensive when it comes to the so called "compliments" and there's a worrisome attitude among certain men who somehow feel the need to point out they can hurt -physically or otherwise- a woman just for the simple fact that she is a woman and somehow not acting on that impulse/ threat is worthy of praise. Perhaps the term, "rape culture" is a bit to serious, but I do believe, sadly, we're heading there.

Your teacher should have taught you what the return key is for... Christ.

Look, you can teach your children all those things but when they go to school and see an adult in a position of authority that behaves like a child, it rubs off on them. An adult who inserts themselves into a conversation in an aggressive manner after misconstruing what was being said then having trouble letting go and acting totally ridiculous is not someone that should be teaching children anything. No matter what the subject.

Misconstruing signals, inserting themselves and then not letting go... Hmmm what does that sound like?

I'm not setting the rules here, so I'm just asking that they be true to what they're saying.
Interesting choice of words for "suck it up"... seems a bit hypocritical to me.

Tough titties.

When did I ever mention censoring? I'm just asking for consistency from the moderators. If you have a problem with me, that's fine. I'd prefer a more helpful discourse than the suggestion of jumping off a bridge though.

What would consistency be? Either they don't censor stupid threads and allow "disrespect" as well, or they censor both. You can't have it both ways. So you're for one or the other or both.

Jumping off a bridge was meant to tell you (in an abstract way I'll admit) that as long as you are alive people will say things you don't like. Especially if you say things that are considered aggressive, stupid, leading, whiny and generally nonsensical. Get used to it.

The moderators are saying disrespect will not be tolerated in the threads, and I'm just pointing out that clearly it often is.

So you think it would be okay for them to censor disrespect if it's directed at you or mr potato head? Or are you again just saying it should remain but that you just don't like it?

No, I don't want to censor you. I'm just calling you out for being a bully.
And I'm a Canadian, this is not about Trump for me.

Oh so you think I can still say what I want but you are just letting me know that you think I am being mean to Mr Potato head? That's fine.

Topic Which improvements or features would you like to see added?

There is nothing in the description of the mature category to suggest it is only sex between two older people. it merely states "Involving older women or men, our mature stories posts appeal to people who enjoy an experienced hand in the bedroom. There's nothing like sex with an older partner to get up to speed with the finer arts involved in love making. Younger guys are sure to love the milf stories. the last sentence even implies that as opposed to younger male/older woman, the mature category would be older men/younger women. which in fact is the type of story I wrote for my story in this category. (for the milf category, I actually did younger woman/older woman).. so there really is no need for a separate older/younger category, when you already have 2 different categories that could easily apply.

That doesn't make any sense.

I look forward to hearing more opinions on this.

As far as the locked threads: As a paying member of this site, and on behalf of e very other member who may have an opinion or a point of view that a moderator doesn't agree with, or who might defend someone from getting attacked by those who the moderator might happen to be friends with, I request the following information:

1. What rule did my threads break that justified them being locked?
2. Why weren't other threads and people blocked who broke the same "rule?"
3. Which moderator was it exactly who decided it would be a good Idea to sift through all of my threads and lock them because he/she wanted to attack me for my point of view?
4. What can we do to insure that other good hearted, fair-minded, paying customers do not face similar prejudicial treatment and are not targeted by possibly self righteous, closed minded, underhanded and vindictive moderators?

1. They were annoying
2. Because you're annoying and stupid.
3. Kelly Price
4. Stop being so annoying.

If you want me to not make "wild accusations" then don't engage me in the first place... or better yet... accept the answers I give you. What's worse is when I answer your questions you respond back that I didn't answer them and once again, those answers weren't good enough for you. You accused me of going off topic... which is completely false. You also implied I wasn't treating this thread with respect... which is also false.

Please remain on topic in the future... and treat this threat with the respect it truly deserves.

Your tax dollars go to a person like this to teach your children how to navigate their world. Let disillusionment set in. It sucks. It doesn't stop there. Tax money is wasted on every level. On every fuckng level. The same way it's wasted for this dolt.

I am a Christian. No doubt Christmas was converted from a pagan holiday when great numbers of people in the Roman Empire began to convert over. It isn't even the right time of year to be Christ's birth. It was just convenient. And most aspects of the way it is celebrated are rooted in paganism and now consumerism (which is the new religion).

Christianity encompasses a very wide variety of beliefs and worship cultures, many of which are in serious conflict with one another. Just as I feel great conflict with the judgmental branches of Christianity which I equate with the Pharisees responsible for Christ's execution. They may think they can judge me, but I know they have no right to. And I go to church with lesbian and gay worshippers, deacons, and ministers. Anyone is accepted. Christ didn't come to fulfill the rich conservative, judgemental, religious establishment. They are the ones that killed his earthly body.

And each person is their own priest, and does not need a priest as an intercessor.

That's my beliefs, like it or not. I am what I am.

Right on Buz. You are a hero amongst men.

Birth. Or rebirth if you want to nitpick. Look, I agree with the looting of pagan culture... But I am also studied in Catholicism and the egg is about birth.

I did ask you directly. I asked you two questions about your post. Both could be answered with a yes or no, though admittedly I would have added an explanation myself if someone would have asked me those questions. But anyway, you make it seem as if I should have asked patokl instead. And better even, that I didn't as k him but you to personally attack you. It doesn't make sense. Why should I ask patokl? He stated that he didn't grew up in a rape culture. I find that hard to believe, but I don't know about his childhood. You on the other hand seemed to suggest that none of us grow up in rape culture. That makes yours a generalized claim, where his is just anecdotal.
So to answer your question: I responded to your post instead of patokl's because it was your post that triggered my response (for the reason I just mentioned) and not his. That seemed so obvious to me that I didn't answer it at first. There's no need to make wild accusations of personal attacks.

You're talking to someone who is the human equivalent of a speed bump.

For your's, her's, and everyone else's (she teaches children - frightening - I know) sake, slow down buddy. Use smaller words. Monosyllabic words... grunts even. Or else you will get nowhere. Well, maybe you'll reach the state of frustration... idiocy even... But that's it.

There were festivals celebrated around the Solstice and in the late Fall long before there was a Christmas. Christmas even nicked bits from some of them. Further, Christmas has become secularized enough that one can enjoy the celebration without ever mentioning Jesus. The decorations, presents, family dinners, and so on have little to do with Jesus and a lot to do with just getting together and celebrating being together.

For me, there is still spiritual meaning to the season even if I stopped calling myself a "Christian" a long time ago (what I am is complicated and in flux). I will even go to Christian services on Christmas Eve without the slightest intent of being ironic. The story of hope for "Peace on Earth, Goodwill among men" born in simple surroundings is a resonant one and fits nicely with other festivals celebrating the coming of light into the darkness of the winter.

I'm a farmer myself and most of my life revolves around harvest. Christmas and Thanksgiving are just harvest festivals. It's no coincidence that they take place when farmers/growers/agriculturalists/botanists are less busy and enjoying the literal fruits of their labor. You don't need to be religious to celebrate those days. In fact, it's religion that stole them and consumerism/capitalism that perverted them.
